For years on end, I had really bad allergies. Over a decade of sneezing hundreds of times per day, all day, for every reason you can imagine: beds, dust mites, perfumes, pollen, cats, sitting on a couch, walking down the street, entering a home, getting inside a car, etc. Simply living made me sneeze, and all doctors wanted to do was give me a very expensive treatment that involved getting injections for around a year or something like that. I never liked that idea, so for whatever reason I intuitively cut out sugar as much as I could, stopped eating processed foods and dairy products, and began to fast every now and then for a day. That is it. No more allergies 🧐I hope this helps someone. Edit: Working out and stressing as less as possible also helps, because working out enhances your immune system and stress hormones have a negative impact on it. ♥️

Same here. I was intolerant (IgG) to pretty much 20 or 30 foods. Now about 5 left, after getting my act together, when it comes to healthy food. Plus water fasting at times up to 5 days. In fact, I'm on my first 6 day water fast now.

@@advex4428 I am glad you found your way around it because it is misery. In my case, I was not allergic to any specific foods, but to dust, cats, fluffy things, beds, trees, walking down the street, sitting on a couch, spring, perfumes, you name it, I was sneezing hundreds of times per day, my nose was itchy, my eyes were swollen, and tissues were everywhere around my house. I do not know what it was, but food definitely had something to do with it. Keep up the work to keep on feeling better 💕💕

The gut brain theory is 100% true. I have many food interlorences caused from severe stress after losing my wife. Foods I have always ate are now causing problems. Ive also noticed when I am eating, just a negative thought can literally bring on an allergic reaction that lowers BP and starts a anaphlaxis episode, which is scary as fuck when your on your own. I always have activated charcoal near me.

Dehydration also causes histamine levels to rise which was my problem. I thought I was getting allergies but in fact I was dehydrated all the time. Started hydrating more and my allergies symptoms went away completely. Just thought I'd throw that in for those that find they don't hydrate enough and get random allergy type events.

Dr Batmanghelidj wrote a book years ago called "Your Body's Many Cries for Water". In it, he said proper hydration moderates histamines. I got a really bad allergic reaction to hops on the same day I was also drinking alcohol while picking hops. I thought maybe dehydration had something to do with it. Good to hear your observations on this particular topic.

I can tell you, this does not work if there is an underlying gut issue. I subconsciously knew drinking water often alleviated some allergic issues, so whenever I was having hay fever reaction I would drink. However at some point this meant I would drink 6L of water per day and my kidneys were suffering for it. Had to go through hospital stuff. So, don't be me and try and figure out what's upsetting your gut. Try not eating breakfast and lunch on a sunday and then see how you feel. If you are not having allergic reactions by dinner time then you kind of know. If you don't live alone and someone is watching you, you could try fasting for a longer time. After this try to figure out what's upsetting your gut. I personally try to cut out the processed crap as much as possible, but there's also other things I cut. Although there are also things you may want to try to add instead.

WOW!!! I will be starting this TODAY!! I know I don’t drink enough water! I also realized that my nervous system is disregulated. I have also started implementing nervous system exercises and deep breathing. Paying attention to what triggers me and thinking about my reaction before hand! Childhood trauma has a lot to do with nervous system disregulation also. Thank you for this!

Respiratory allergies that I would term severe caused me to often suffer as a child. Runny nose, sneezing, congestion, head ache were constant in the summer months. Ear infections caused damage to my inner ear and caused two mastoid surgeries. I was referred to an allergy doctor in the 1960 era. He was emphatic about measures that my parents must take to provide me relief from allergy symptoms. I underwent immune therapy shots for over 10-years. My mother collected house dust which was used to create a serum that was injected frequently. My parents were told to install an electronic filter on their furnace, my mother was told how to clean her house, plastic bags were put on bed mattresses and sheets were washed often. No pets were to be allowed. I think that these measures, as indicated by skin tests, were effective in reducing my allergy symptoms. As I grew older my allergy symptoms became less severe. I read that this is common but the immunotherapy may have also helped. I am now 75 years old. I now live on the Pacific Ocean and far from my midwestern birth place. I still suffer some effects from indoor allergens, but the indoor air filters I installed seem to help. I recently removed my gas range and put in an induction range top. It also seems to help some. I have a c-pap machine and use a full-face mask that filters the air I breath while sleeping. This also seems an effective strategy. We have two dogs, but they don’t cause adverse allergic reactions. I can’t be in the same home with some cats however. I thought it might be helpful to allergy sufferers if I described my life experiences.

Fasting can help a great deal with allergies, which stem from the gut. Fasting fixes the gut and also gets rid of the problem immune cells and replaces them with ones that function properly! Some benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time. Fasting increases nitric oxide release. Fasting restores NAD+ to healthy levels. Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy. Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of bacteria, plaques and viruses by the immune system. It will also remove any 'foreign material' like spikes that are not supposed to be there. Whether natural or unnatural in origin.. Telomeres are lengthened and fasting also increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors. Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body. Fasts from 36-96 h increase metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release! After 72 hours or more fasted, your body recycles up to 1/3 of all immune bodies, rejuvenating your entire immune system. Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures. Thymus is regenerated, which suppresses aging and renews the immune system. The thymus also plays a vital role in fighting cancer. Blood sugar and insulin are lowered when fasting, allowing white blood cells to move more freely throughout the body and do their job. Some viruses activate glycolosis (the release of sugar in the body) and clinically it has been shown that decreasing glucose metabolism in the body weakens the influenza virus. Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue! The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting. When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell required for viruses to replicate. What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast. Most teas and herbs are OK. Most supplements and meds will either break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting. Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building. Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility, especially in women with PCOS. Fasting reduces pain and anxiety by stimulating the endocannabinoid system in a similar way to CBD oil. Fasting very quickly reduces leptin resistance, which impairs immune function. One day of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half and gets your immune system working properly again! Stomach acid is reduced over time while fasting and can allow for the healing of treatment resistant ulcers. Some patients may need continued acid reduction medication while fasting. Does the body preferentially prefer glucose as a fuel? No. Except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids. Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose. Fasting stimulates the AMPK complex and activates autophagy. Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body. It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency. Fasting releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth. This can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers. When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn carbohydrate, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with. Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level. When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, destroying them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer. A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and extremely low carbs. Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, making it easier in healthy people and allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia. Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness or tremors, then simply break the fast and seek advice. I want to share my experience with long fasting and my allergies. This podcast has been so enlightening. I've had hayfever / dust allergy since I was 10 (I'm now 45), and managed it for a long time with breath control (pranayama). It helped immensely but I still had a problem dealing with dust / dust mites around the house, even small amounts of mold in any scenario, etc. I left off the pranayama practice for a while around 2018 and around the time COVID started my allergies started to re-emerge in a big way. That's some background. But what I am excited to share is this - three weeks ago I did a five-day water fast, my first time with a long fast. I went into it hoping to help heal a tendon injury in my foot. I left off taking any anti-histamines (which I was specifically taking because I'd been travelling and my house had been shut up for a couple of months, so I knew I would be sneezing my lungs out if I didnt) I spent the whole of the first and second days of the fast sneezing. The second and third days were tough, not only because of the fast itself but because I had this searing intense "pain" under my cheekbones. But what happened after that was interesting. As that pain subsided, I realized I wasn't sneezing as much anymore, and then it completely stopped. COMPLETELY. It's been two weeks now, I'm back to my regular diet, and apart from the occasional sneeze at some point in the day, I find that my allergy has disappeared. The real litmus test for me was going to my mother's house, and it's super-dusty because she's old and can't be bothered. I'm usually sneezing or feeling my nose reacting within half an hour of arriving there - or I take an antihistamine as soon as I get there because there's no other way I can manage. But this time, I stayed for two full days and I was perfectly fine, no sneezing, no anti-histamine. This is almost absurd to me, because, like you've discussed, it's so much a part of who I am and how I manage my world. And it was not somehting that I expected the fast to do. I'm hoping it stays gone, but that remains to be seen. I'm not sure it would work for everyone, of course, but wanted to share this aspect of my experience with fasting. Slightly long-winded, but that's just me excited! Love this conversation, and all the information you bring to the world!

I shared my story in the comment section, and it is similar to yours. Fasting stopped over a decade of sneezing hundreds of times per day, all day, for every reason you can imagine: beds, dust mites, perfumes, pollen, cats, sitting on a couch, walking down the street, entering a home, getting inside a car, etc. Simply living made me sneeze. I cut out dairy and sugar, began to fast every now and then, and have never sneezed again. 🥳🥳🥳

I’m 60+ & developed hay fever age 9. Grass pollen & cats are my main triggers. I used to suffer quite badly throughout June till about mid July but thankfully it’s much less of an issue as I got older. I was brought up in a very clean home (though far less chemicals in products back then) & recall having several doses of antibiotics for ear/throat infections as a child. Back in 2011 as I was going through the menopause, plus a big house move, then the sudden death of someone very close to me - so quite a stressful time - I developed eczema. Luckily for me it’s been very mild & only seems to affect a small area on my back & neck. I agree people who don’t have experience of allergies can often think we overplay it but it’s a very real issue & can have knock on effects mentally & emotionally. Thanks to you both for this very informative talk.

15 years ago I taught English in a small town in south Korea. I was surprised that so few of the 100s and 1000s of kids that came through the school didn't have allergies and yet so many children have allergies in Australia. They used to have these wonderful free school lunches made fresh with so many different veggies and meats & kimchi. Westernisation of the diet has moved in with pizza 🍕 white bread and cake but this daily healthy lunch seemed to make the children very healthy and resilient in spite of this.

I live in South Korea and food allergies and hay fever are still rare. Interestingly skin allergies are common, especially for kids. Young Koreans these days are generally not exposed to nature or dirt and tend to clean their homes pretty obsessively so that might be part of the issue.

Korea still has good school lunches but lots of candy and snacks and other unhealthy foods have found their way into the country and more young children here eat more of these foods these days. I don’t know what Korea was like say 25 years ago but these days there are more of the foods we consider bad for health and more and more children are having weight issues. This was probably almost unheard of a couple of decades ago in Korea. There are lots of healthy side dishes here, like kimchi. But I guess things like allergies will rise here, too.

I live in Japan and developed a pretty severe pollen allergy (probably cedar) in the Spring a couple years after I moved here. The usual medicines did not work very well and were very uncomfortable for me to take, I would feel jittery and sleepy at the same time. A few years ago I tried doing a ketogenic diet during allergy season and it seemed to reduce my symptoms by about 95%. So, every year I do a ketogenic diet for a few months during that season and don't need to take any medication. Anyway, that worked for me.

The culprits come from processed foods and... condiments, sauces, dips, dressings you use in your daily diets. They are all packed with preservatives. Preservatives contain sodium (natrium) to avoid spoils. This sodium is actually hazardous to brain blood vessels and nerves. That is why some human body immune system reacts with allergic. Nothing wrong with lactose, gluten etc. It's this sodium is the culprit.

All allergies are gone, my gallbladder problem is gone. My sciatica is gone. I finally feel alive after 43 years. Junk food or just a bad diet is nothing but pure evil and hell. You won’t ever go back to eating like that after you feel the effects of a good diet. And if you do well you go to hell not me. Also I thought I was gonna spend a lot of money on a organic grass fed food. Bug turns out I’m spending waaaaaaaay less money in groceries. I think it’s because now when I eat right; I don’t feel full or bloated; I just feel satiated. As opposed to the bad diet when I keep eating and eating. I was always feeling hungry and bloated at the same time, always felt like I wanted to burp, fart and take a dump but I couldn’t do none. Keep in mind I’m not obese at all. Actually I have always been in my weight. Maybe 4 or 5 lbs above my appropriate weight. I think one of our greatest mistakes is that we take food as a pleasure. We have to start seeing food as our medicine for the body and soul. One more thing before this diet I used to have lustful thoughts, even that changed. My mind started to be at peace. See no evil, eat no evil and you’ll be fine my brothers and sisters. Everything seems to fold into place.

During lunch, I made a plate of 7 small portions of healthy foods. My son asked me why I had so many foods on my plate. I very casually said "I'm feeding the good bugs". Then I burst out laughing thinking, what if I said that to people that have no idea what good bugs are. They would think I'm crazy lol. Then I thought, what if I also told them they had trillions of bugs in their gut. So I laughed even more. About 2 years ago, I had chronic stress for 1 year from my prior high stress job. I developed digestive issues, breathing issues, horrible leg cramps, depression and nerve problems. I even got bell's palsey where the right side of my face was paralyzed for about a month. After lots of research, I decided to eliminate stress by quitting my job then do an anti-inflammatory diet and focus on nutrition. After a month or so, all of my symptoms were gone. So, stress and over eating bad foods is what lead to my health problems.

Histamine reactions are often due to deep cellular dehydration. Many have found relief by dumping refined & processed ‘Carbage’ which really dehydrates the body. Even some drinks - anything sugar-laden & or chemical additive-laden, tea, coffee, alcohol, etc, which force the body to use way more water to process the substances in them than the drink supplies, can be very dehydrating. But hydration isn’t just about drinking water. It’s also about getting enough minerals - electrolytes - so the body can use the water properly. Drinking water on its own can deplete the minerals. The best way to get the minerals is unrefined grey, moist sea salt. I’ve proved this myself. A pinch of sea salt & good glass of water has nipped ‘allergic’ reactions in the bud many a time. Since focusing on rehydration I’ve had no histamine reactions at all. And my insulin resistance is improving. Darko Velcek (on here) speaks a lot about the benefits of proper rehydration.

Loved the talk and the comments which are so useful. I suffer from allergies too and this comments section is filled with us :) A community of allergy sufferers lol. On a more serious note, I think some very obvious conclusions can be drawn and I would hope that in a future talk we could go on the questions given below: Key points are that allergies really began in the 90's. A reduced microbiome and higher stress factors (both environmental and psychological) increase allergy prevalence and this is increasing. Projected to go from a 30-70 distribution to 50-50 by 2050. 1. There is a very obvious (almost elephant in the room) correlation between pesticides and allergies. In this talk it was mentioned but just brushed past. Pesticide use increases the toxic load in us (quite possibly reducing our internal microbiome) when we consume produce that's covered in them. They diminish microbes in the soil, thereby in plants, and thereby in us. Perhaps focusing on those microorganisms which are detrimental for plants but probably beneficial for us to break down food (and other unknown effects) could be explored more and if true reintroduced? 2. For those who develop allergies later in life, there must be a way to narrow down the reason why the body didn't classify the substance as a threat before but does so now? There was contradictory information regarding how the immune system could be like a bored toddler which clashes with this hypothesis, or on the other hand that the substance was always bad but the threshold of toxic load or stress wasn't breached therefore we were coping. Once again using this hypothesis, one could narrow down the delta - I wonder if there are any studies on this? Here once again there could be a connection to pesticides :). 3. Im allergic to cats but developed it later in life. It made no sense until today, when you guys spoke about the deer, tick allergy pathway. That is probably what happened. Following this hypothesis, there's something in that tick's last meal (the cat's blood) that was a threat to me. Once again this leads to the same conclusion that allergies are being caused by overtly "benign," substances which are really vectors. This is very interesting because what we are allergic to could actually be a great signifier that there is perhaps a bacterial/fungalor parasitic imbalance within us which the immune system is overworked with and modern science diagnostics have not picked it up because the symptoms are missing (at the expense of overworking the immune system). 4. There are certain species of bacteria like the streptomyces species which produce doxycycline an antibiotic. These bacteria could be working in symbiosis with our immune system to help us fight off out of control or balance pathogens. The study of these would be interesting to see.

I always think it strange when people say things like 'allergic to cats'. AFAIK there is no 'cat protein' or 'cat molecule'. There may be something about cats you are allergic to, but what is it? Maybe cat dander, cat hair, cat flea treatments, etc? What about dogs? Some people are not allergic to 'poodles' as they have different hair from other dogs/cats?

I had cellulitis a few years ago, after which I started to get really bad eczema. I tried many different skin creams, but it kept getting worse. I went to the doctors a few times, but all they did was prescribe steroid creams. They helped a little at first, but then it’d get worse again. Then I began to see articles about how it’s not good to use them for too long. They suggested reducing the number of products I was using and to only wash with water. I tried this and noticed some improvement. Eventually I requested to see a dermatologist. They did patch testing and it turns out I’m allergic to something called linalool, which is in almost everything: cleaning products, hygiene products, some foods. I always have to check for it now. Even so I can’t possibly avoid it all the time, while travelling, eating out or visiting friends/family. Thankfully just lowering it as much as I can at home makes a big difference. I also try to take my diet into account when tackling allergies.

I have had on-and-off allergies all my life (more on than off in the past decade) and the only thing that EVER worked for me was a Marisa Peer video right here on YT (since taken down for reasons unknown to me), which was a meditation about 20 minutes in length. In the video, she would first do an induction and then talk about how "brilliant" my (the listener's) immune system was and then supply lots of suggestions about how my immune system could easily distinguish between harmless chemicals and actual threats, like viruses. By the time I would get to the end of the video, my sinuses would be bone dry and I'd be feeling like a new person, so therefore my conclusion from that experience was that while, yes allergies may certainly be caused by environmental factors, clearly the mind has an overriding ability to cause or quash allergic responses. And in the absence of an ability to instantaneously evolve my immune system to cope with my ever-changing environment, I've found that hypnosis is really the key to remaining allergy-free. Or... maybe hypnosis IS THE WAY to instantaneously evolve one's immune system!

So earlier than June the pollen count can be as high as you like and I’ll be fine but as soon as June arrives bam! It just hits me. The most helpful thing has been my nasal spray. I take nasal spray eye drops and tablets. However these past two years I have taken MSM which has helped my hayfever tremendously. I take my nasal spray and eye drops still but less of it and I have not had to resort to the tablets. MSM is great for muscles and joints which was my reason for taking it in the first place. @@sarahkay2656 , because my diet changed in February and my seasonal allergies usually occur in August through November, I did not experience any allergies that year, until I went on a vacation trip in late September. By the end of the week, allergies were appearing. Once home, eating my regular diet instead of restaurant food, allergies cleared up in about a week. Had I changed my diet immediately before allergy season, it may have taken longer to see the effect. Before I realized wheat was the problem, I believed it was beef! Most of the beef I ate was in the form of hamburgers, and coincidently the burger buns were the only wheat I consumed. I stopped eating burgers mid July, to prepare for allergy season in mid august, and had no allergy problem for a couple of decades. Then we discovered Cora's restaurants and I ate a lot of bread, but no beef. Allergies appeared out of season and the penny dropped! It was the bread, not the meat. Now I eat mostly beef and other meat. A lot of other conditions have cleared up, and I have remained free of seasonal allergies for a decade. Best wishes for your success.

I have histamine intolerance that was relatively mild until I lived in a house with mold and then got covid. There hasn't been a single day for the last almost 3 years that I don't have DAILY symptoms. These symptoms are not limited to upper respiratory mucus production. I have gastrointestinal, cardiac, and neurological symptoms as well. The number one thing that helps is strict diet (which has made me very angry about food because I can't just eat whatever I want anymore). I have yet to find an allergy medication that completely removes the symptoms. It is awful.

My middle child has allegies/eczema. His older and baby sisters dont't have any allergies. When I was pregnant with him, I tested positive for GBS, and I remember reading an article saying that a study found GBS+ babies typically had allergies/gut issues. I was given a dose of antibiotics at birth to protect him, but I was so nervous due to having only taken antibiotics a few times in my life. When my baby was a newborn, I knew something was going on because my baby boy seemed to have so many gut issues after birth. He had a white tongue, crazy craddle cap, constipation, bloody stool, vomiting, and eczema. His pediatrician was not concerned because, according to him, it was all "normal." That was really upsetting because my first child did NOT have any symptoms at all.I asked for an allergist because I knew something was going on. They didnt want to test him, because he was under 6mo and only having breastmilk. I was advised to eat all allergens even though he had symptoms. I honestly, didnt listen because I wanted to give my son relief, and his symptoms werent as bad once I eliminatedall the major allergens. THEN he started solids and started to vomit. They only wanted to test him for food that he rejected(eggs, avocado, oatmeal, fish). Fast forward right before he was 3yo, I gave him and his big sis walnuts and cheese as a snack. He had a serious reaction (holding his throat, coughing, scratching his tongue) from eating a small piece of walnut. Extremely scary situation. He was tested once again and sure enough he was allergic to Walnuts and Pecan, two of my favourite nuts. I ate walnuts alot while breastfeeding. I honestly felt so bad, but I was so frustrated that my concerns were not taken seriously. I should've demanded a full allergy pannel for testing when he was 8mo. Anywho... the allergist recommended exposure to allergen in his diet on a weekly basis, so every day he has at least one allergen ( eggs, shellfish, nuts etc) something interesting that I've noticed is that his eczema does NOT flare up anymore at all, AND he's super regular! Im hoping that his walnut/pecan allergy goes away, but I'm just happy hes not itching and scratching like crazy anymore. Im really curious as to why so much exposure to allergens is really helping him...

As someone who has been dealing with eczema outbreaks since 2015, this episode confirms the measures I've been taking to reduce the symptoms. Going on an elimination diet has shown me the food triggers that cause the underlying inflammation; wheat, sugar, caffeine (especially coffee and chocolate) and cow's milk products. Foods made with goat and sheep's milk are better tolerated. The impact of stress has been the biggest revelation. Learning to relax and tame anxiety has been huge, as well as getting better, more restful sleep. Wearing a mask during smoky forest fire polluted air helps with reducing exposure to that particulate as well as pollens. I also have several HEPA air filters in several rooms of my home to reduce allergens. My skin has improved, and outbreaks are fewer, but dry cracked skin is still a concern that natural moisturizers haven't completely resolved. It's a matter of playing the long game of moving towards good health.

Most important what about vaccines ? They're a major intervention on our immune systems, pushed from the first day after birth to old age. There's always more of them, especially since WW2. Even in remote Uganda. They contain adjuvants that are here to irritate the immune system so it reacts strongly to the introduced antigen (+ anything randomly here too ?) - think of the analogy to the story of the tick bite priming the immune system to react to a dear molecule and begin an allergy to meat. It's incredible that the question of vaccination can not be posed when discussing allergies. I'm super mad about the vaccine cult making some discussions impossible.

Symptom Relief: 1 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder taken 4 times per day. This has almost completely eliminated my severe allergy symptoms for almost 30 years now. Few people are determined enough to stick with the schedule every day, but it has worked for several of my friends who were developing asthma and had recently started having to use inhalers. I came upon this cure by accident. I originally started to use the turmeric for my severe back pain from an accident 40 years ago. After 3 months of taking the turmeric, I realized that I had forgotten to take my daily dose of Claritin D for an entire month! While the turmeric has helped significantly with my back pain, it has been even more effective with my pollen and dust, etc., allergies, which had become a daily year-round issue and were starting to turn into asthma. Please check with your doctor first to make sure it is safe for you to use on such a constant basis, as it is not recommended for a small percentage of people.

Then the ER said it’s a panic attack 🙄 it was 6 years later my mom developed an organic bread company @feelgooddough and I helped at a trade show and the first woman who came up was a nutritionist who said wow this is so important because the bleached flour can cause a histamine reaction that can cause racing heart. So thank you for confirming all this, this needs MUCH more explaining to doctors and urgent cares and families.

I naturally cured my life long eczema and adult allergies and I hope this can help others. I got eczema when I was 1 year old and had it up to the age of about 48 where I went on a raw whole food histamin free diet for 3 months. I also took a daily quercetin supplement which helps lower histamines. After those three months I could eat almost anything again and the eczema was gone. I also had some food allergies, plus pollen and mold allergies. For those to go away I had to completely removed all wheat from my diet so that my digestive system got the chance to heal. The wheat was causing leaky gut and bad bacteria which made the mast cells overreact and fire at lots of things and causing the allergies. A while later I accidentally had wheat from some hidden souces and at the same time I was exposed to a lot of smoke in the air (histamines). The eczema came back along with lots of allergies too. So once again I went back on the raw histamine free diet with quercetin (raw fruits, veggies and greens excluding things like avocado, tomato, spinach, bananas, citrus etc.) plus of course the wheat and then the eczema and alleries were gone within a few months. So my solution was to remove the tricker (wheat) and calm the histamine response so that the gut can heal and the problems get fixed. The three months are kind of tough but totally worth it.

Eating more and/or different fibers didn't help and just made it worse. I gradually reduced how much fiber I was eating, with less constipation but still getting some, then finally become hyper-carnivore (low carb/keto). For a long time now I've eaten very few plants. A bit of organic sauerkraut most days is about the only fiber I eat. Constipation is 100% gone, have great bowel motions (most days around 7-8am) and no more uncomfortable gas. I'm not overly convinced that fiber is any way essential to human gut health and I suspect it might even be bad for some people. I'm not sure I ever really did okay with it. When I was vegetarian I always had a bit of IBS and when I was vegan it was very bad IBS. Since I took a leap of faith and removed most fiber, I have had the best bowel motions for over 30 years. I've never had much in the way real allergies. The only food I ever clearly reacted badly to was soy protein, which gives me psoriasis. I stopped eating soy protein around 12 years ago and have not had a single outbreak since. I can occasionally eat it without problems, but if I eat it every day for 4 days then it is a problem. That's originally why I stopped eating bread and slowly moved towards low carb and keto.

I think she just wants to sell books. She probably knows carnivore diet is the way to go and the fact that she doesn't talk about plants anti-nutrients and enzyme inhibitors makes me suspicious. I cured my autoimmune disease of decades by going ketovore 🍖🥓 🍗 🥩 🧀 🥛 🧈

Enlightening. Thank you. Odd thing, when I had severe asthma, it was petrol (gasoline) fumes that bothered me. I was fine with diesel. Everybody's different. I have almost completely cured my asthma by making two dietary changes. First, I noticed that I always got wheezier after eating fast food (of any kind or brand). So, I stopped eating that as much as possible. Second, I put a priority on good quality, fresh foods, no matter how much more expensive they are. Of course, food costs are now a disproportionately large budget item for me. But I can breathe again. I made the changes 20 years ago. Within five years, I was no longer wheezy all the time. Within 10 years, I no longer needed an inhaler. Today, I can be around my worst triggers (artificial perfumes and baby's breath flowers) without fearing for my life. I get a bit tight in the airways for a short time, but it clears up the moment the trigger is gone.

Am in Germany and when our kids get inffection , cough or accute fever, the doctors hardly give antibiotics..my daughter is almost 3 and she has never had an antibiotic..i got angry sometime ago when she got an ear inffection and they insisted on NO antibiotic...Now i understand and i appreciate what they did. They recommended i give her some herbal teas and i personally made Garlic , gloves and honey tea..she drank it for a week and she was fine.

You’ve got a good doctor. We give too many antibiotics here and it’s helping create a host of autoimmune issues. My family goes to a functional medicine doctor and treats the root cause which means my family is a lot healthier than the general population.

@@jeffreysummers6843 They give out antibiotics when they know it's viral and fungal too. I took 3 pills out of my antibiotics and I started having acid-reflux, gerd, chest pain, and bad bowel movements.

Growing up, I had eczema so bad I had to wear gloves to school to absorb the blood so I didn't smear it all over my papers and books. I also had juvenile RA and my knees would swell up like balloons making it hard to run and play. It started around the time our area began being hit with Strontium 90 drift, from the atomic testing. I've had an autoimmune disease, which has received various diagnoses over the years, ever since. I've added more allergies, and physical problems, over the years so that, now, at 79, I have so many physical problems it is hard to get any type of effective medical treatment and have to depend mainly on living a healthy life-style.

So sorry for all of your troubles. My wife and I will pray that you find healing. A keto diet and staying away from all of the processed food definitely helps.

I had bad allergies when I was a teenager. I improved my diet and lifestyle and I basically had almost no hay fever for almost 4 decades. Then, I got the jab. I spend half my time sounding stuffed and sick since then.

I switched to a pretty strict keto diet back in October. Regardless I do not eat ANY grains at all any more. My allergies are GONE. After suffering my entire life, and even doing allergy shots for over 10 years - NOTHING had given me great relief - until keto diet.

100%. Another reason to quit grains. Most contain Glyphosate. It’s amazing that they are still able to sell that poison. GRAS my ass.

Do you remember how long it took for you to feel better after eliminating grains? I have to take allergy shots also, and I’m pretty miserable right now. I’m currently dealing with chronic sinusitis.
