My moms abuse did not demage just my psychology but body as well. Since year 12 I have stomach and digestive problems that i cant solve despite so many tries. Once i realaized that i started focusing on self love. Just started this journy and hopefuly i will feel joy of living at least once in my life. Thanks for sharing this video it can help soo many people. Like me

This was helpful to me. As a child of a narcissistic parent, you’re always trying to solve the puzzle (and get some kind of deeper closeness) and there’s also fear: am I like them? Am I making my kids like them? So that insight is really helpful. My aunt always said that their parents were afraid of my mom. She would react to discipline, do they just gave in to her. You’d think it was just a resentful younger sibling unless you saw some of how my mom used to treat her sister, and how much my aunt tried to appease her. It was so sad. And they never grew up out of the dynamic, it caused so much pain.

Thank you. This is amazing how people with these parents don’t even know their parent was narc due to this precise impact. I think my parent -she- was and I think it was genetic in her and also psychological. I feel that because my brother one of them who is her favourite has some of it too …….I want to change how I have trauma bond with her. I have been careful in understanding when I need her regulation which doesn’t even exist and planning to use what I m learning . I don’t know you know how difficult it is in practice to stop relationships that are one at life and you also r having heart and often feel sorry worries for that person . She is much like stone and doesn’t listen change express love missing longing .. I looked at her all life to see signs of love she shows it when a driver is waiting for me in rush beside our home to take me to airport . - I live far for years . She enjoys showing off and apart from that no emotion . I m scientifically surprised . I tried to experiment to understand her and I realised she chooses to be narrow and stone like so she has a choice but my sister used to say - she is scapegoat- that she does all to manipulate you for herself. I however found myself to be very easy to be manipulated by one person I have a parental attach to and I think it is the same wound. So I m also excited to experiment with my behavior and see how that changes. However my sense of kindness and seeking for love in general make me make mistakes by forgetting things. I really like to change this

I heard male adaptive too. I was listening for female adaptive. Because I listen to things about being in your masculine or in your feminine.

Having trouble finding which video is about "enlistment". Thoroughly enjoying these videos, though. When you mentioned the "8-year-old", I thought of the work of Dr. Bruno Bettelheim, who, for some reason, some people seem to try to malign. One of his patients, who became a successful financier (1986) had explicit fantasies when he was around ten years old, about murdering and dismembering women before Bettelheim began treating him.
