I found you only through scrolling KZbin...I'm so glad. I was sad when I was diagnosed because I have a new grandchild. After seeing you since 2023 I have been greatly incorraged that I'm taking a better attitude. I thank God every day for another one. Prayers for you, also. Going to have another procedure on Monday to remove a tumor on my liver and two cysts on my right kidney. God bless you!

Hope you’re doing better? It’s so hard going through serious health problems. BTW, it’s “encouraged,” not “incorraged.”

The pain is from the carbon dioxide that they use to open up the area to see better during the procedure.

Exactly. Can’t believe the surgeon didn’t say that.

It happens with a hysterectomy as well, the gas they use to distend the abdominal area to get to the organs causes major gas pains in the shoulders.

So happy to see how well you look for just having major surgery. Keep moving but don’t over do it. Will your family be with you for the next couple weeks while you are healing? The weather looks fantastic -(jealous). Ohio is cold gloomy looking this time of year. Thank you for the update. Keep rocking it!

Shoulder tip pain is a common occurrence with prolonged laparoscopic surgery. So I’m guessing you had that?

About the scar, is that now the standard at every hospital? Or is it different depending on the hospital

You're a beast my friend. I am having the right side of my liver resected in 2 weeks. I just had a PVE done to increase the volume on the left side. Had almost no side effects after this procedure. Your video is an inspiration.

Surgery , opening the body, those are gas pains that have floated up to ur shoulder. I’ve had several laparoscopic surgeries and dealt with it every time. Happy for your progress! Keep it up.

I didn’t realize this was 2 years old. I see your in hospice now. Praying for you. Please review what is newly being tested, dig worming medicine. One man waited until no other options and was sent to hospice. He is still alive. Worth looking into it. My local news station told a story on it. Bless you

Yes i also had shoulder pain after having my gall bladder out laparoscopicly. I was warned it would be from the gas after they inflate your abdomen with air. ! Also rewatching all Dan's videos.

Yeah, but that’s how most people deal with cancer, since if you don’t, most of the time you do die even earlier. So the idea is to prolong your life, which isn’t always a good thing when there’s a lot of suffering.
