The only thing I don't understand is Why OFB isn't Manufacturing:- (1) AKM variants like Ghatak with Left-side folding buttstocks. Most of their AKMs have right-side folding buttstocks that doesn't makes ergonomical sense. (2) Modernized version of SLR (FN-FAL) as:- (a) 16 to 18-inch barriel Battle rifles with Full-Auto Modes (b) 18 to 20-inch barrer DMRs (3) An indigenous verson of RPK to replace the INSAS-LMGs (4) Indigenous version of AK-101 chambered for 5.56Nato (5) Ergonomical version of JVPC with rear-side charging chandle like MP-7, M-9 etc & ambiedextrous Safety, bolt-lock & mag-release (6) Indigenous version of RPG-7, UBGL GP-30 & UKM-2000 ?

CQB is look like AR pistol...... JVPC is copy right of UZI.... No one is equivalent to AK.... But there is advantage it's maintained cost is low ..... Impression :- that 6.8 assault is Great .... Yaar, Indian govt just talk for nothing. Even Pakistan has better and modern weapons. Pakistan has local world class weapon manufacturers in the market. But India is still having INSAS and upgrading the same. India couldn't import the weapon making technology till date.
