I really like this whole dream build series but I think a little constructive criticism is in need here. What I love about the dream builds is how calm and smoothe it all is. This seems a little rough and maybe even forced in some parts. I would also not skip as much of the build. Again, this is not me being a Negative Nancy it's just something that I think I can do to help the channel. Thanks a lot for the great content!

I ride a 2019 Mach6 ,many upgrades. Killer bike with 180 up front. Got an 2018 Firebird frame and full build on my part as usual. Not quite as pretty and all Park tooled out as this. Old school garage tech and 40 years experience bike tech. Love the video. Now get it Dirty Dammit!😉

This felt like some bodybuilder angryman was putting this bike together. Usually it's aesthetically pleasing crew tightening, nice sound of torque wrenches but something about this is a bit odd. I know you work incredibly hard on these videos so don't be put down it was still a great video nonetheless.

It's a shame to see a sunrace cassette on such a nice bike. After having mine literally crack, detaching from the freehub body, I wouldn't buy another one
@NorthernSkiAndCycle5 жыл бұрын
I feel it's due to the fact they didn't use microspline freehub so they couldn't use a shimano 12 speed cassette.

Interesting build, hope cranks then shimano 12 speed xt shifter and derailleur but sunrace 12 speed caset 11-50 hmm is there any praticular reason 😅! Not on a negative point im just curios ☺️
@MatthewJamesWoods985 жыл бұрын
Tedi Debelić Tedi Debelić- reason is Shimano 12 speed cassettes need something called the micro spline. There are only a certain amount of hubs that support this new freehub. Industry nine, DT Swiss, Mavic and Shimano’s hubs. This has caused uproar as people who run different hubs which I didn’t list can not upgrade to Shimano’s 12 speed. This is because Shimano want aftermarket hub sellers to be officially licensed by Shimano. But Hope and other companies was being denied of the license which made Shimano fans pissed off. I ended up buying x01 eagle as I couldn’t use Shimano’s new 12 speed on my hope hubs. Not really bothered about what company but as long as it works all the time I don’t really care. I do think Shimano fucked up as it pissed off most customers and most likely increased sales of SRAM eagle. However, Shimano did release a statement saying that they are going to license more aftermarket wheel manufacturers in the next few months.
@tedidebelic7985 жыл бұрын
@@MatthewJamesWoods98 a ok i did know that at first just dt swiss had the patent from shimano, think now there are more then 6 Brands which are having the patent as well! Iw noticed that riders in the UK swear on the Hope Hubs, freehub bodys becouse they are the only once which can last a british winter! So that perfectly makess sense to me now! Once again thanks for the Update 👌🤟✌️
