Dream Build Road Bike - Bahrain McLaren Merida Scultura

As a celebration of joining forces with Team Bahrain McLaren, Muc-Off invited the UCI WorldTour team's Head Mechanic Filip Tisma to do a dream build of their team bike, the Merida Scultura Team Edition, in our workshop in Poole, UK.
The distinctive design of Team Bahrain McLaren bikes makes them difficult to miss in the peloton. McLaren's famous papaya colour appears alongside red, the national colour of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and a striking blue which represents the team's optimism.

I kinda like the difference in workshops that one experiences through your videos. From a classic bike shop atmosphere (Dogma F10), to a home-workshop vibe (Focus Izalco) to this very clean and organised workshop at the Muc-Off HQ, which I think is quite impressive. More so because the bike mechanic here is a Pro mechanic and his fast and fluent, very efficient working style matches the professionalism of the workshop. Btw this was also used as an insta add for Muc-Off, so all the Sherlocks in the comments can calm down - Yes, this was sponsored. So f* what:) Love the insight!

"Lazyness" These guy dont have the time in the world to do one thing 3 times. Each rider has 3/4 excluding tt bikes.. Timeframes very little so you do it as fast and little stops along the way. He did go out of his way to greace the bottlecage bolts and rearhanger..

Yes, this Scultura's rear derailleur hanger is a lot longer and chunkier than what you'd see on a production Scultura.

Its most likely a carbon gripper to provide more friction so that the seat post doesn't fall or move
