Great video and incredible bike! What was being installed inside the swat box?
@SteedCyclesNorthVancouver2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Oscar! The frame was custom painted which means that all frame plastics had to be removed. Here I'm reinstalling the downtube protector and the latch for the Swat Box door.

Can a fox dhx2 fit into stumpjumper? I heard its not recommended
@eddy14062 жыл бұрын
If its a 2020 stumpjumper or younger it will fit all though tis bike is more liniar then his predecessor. You can partly correct this with a cassacade component linkage.
@SteedCyclesNorthVancouver2 жыл бұрын
You're right it's not recommended since the linkage can side-load the shock, though it does technically fit. The final build actually used a Push Elevensix - unfortunately we didn't have it to hand when the shoot was scheduled.
@eddy14062 жыл бұрын
@@SteedCyclesNorthVancouver this side-load doesnt happen with the Push Eleven six?
@SteedCyclesNorthVancouver2 жыл бұрын
@@eddy1406 It will happen with any shock, however some are built to better withstand it. In this case the Push has a much thicker/stiffer shaft than the Fox shocks.

What headset was used?
@SteedCyclesNorthVancouver2 жыл бұрын
Since the Stumpy Evo uses a very specific headset bearing to achieve the head angle adjustment, the headset is simply the stock headset that comes with the bike, though we did try a few different options from Cane Creek, Wolf Tooth etc. with no luck
