Good video mate amazing how scopes & binoculars have gone high tech showing the distance and how to adjust your scope, if you got it flaunt it lol. I have not used a scope mounted rifle in over 30 years. Lovely rifle 7 thanks for showing it to us, stay safe.

Thanks mate, yep there’s some fancy technology out there but you don’t always need it. Sometimes the old open sights is as good as anything. Cheers🤙

Suppressors are illegal here in Australia. As an expat Kiwi, it's frustrating. I'm running two of the Conquest scopes, one on a .223 and one on a .300 WM. They are good things. Nice set up 👍🏻

Yea that would be frustrating. They do effect the Ballance a bit but it’s just so nice to have a quiet gun with hardly any kick. Yes we love the Zeiss optics. We’ve never used them before this year and have used Leica stuff in the past but they seem very similar quality. Thanks for watching👍

I have the Sauer 101 Alaska in 30-06. Those Hexalock rings really work, I have an illuminated low power scope for boar and and a Kahles long range scope for deer. Lead and copper bullets all shoot sub 1 inch groups at 100m, an amazing rifle 😁 BTW - I'm a Kiwi living now in the Austrian Alps.

Yea man they are an awesome rifle. Very straight shooting and the hexalock rings are amazing. Just need a good thermal scope for on the farm pest control

We’ve used it for a year and the front one did come loose once so it’s just something to keep an eye on.

Sorry guys, what brand were the rings? Thanks.

Hexalock I believe they are called. They are made by Sauer for their rifles so I don’t think they can go on every rifle

Never buy a sauer rifle, terrible customer service, once out of warrentt they dont want to know, the rifle is nice but their service is terrible

Sigh... Will stick with my $300 1960's parker-hale .308 7 3/4 lbs total weight with 4x bushnell banner scope, if I can't see the whites of their eyes I'm not close enough to have a smack... thermals, barrel silos, and beeping flashing I-phone app stuff can all go on a one-way trip on the next rocket-ship to alpha centauri jim.. LOL

Yea nothing wrong with doing it the old fashion way for sure. Saves a lot of coin and still does the job. I quite like that you can do the gadget technical side of things with this gun and do some longer shots with confidence or just use it like the old Parker-hale if you wanna go old school in the bush. Thanks for watching👍
