For me this has been the best new product I have tried in a while, been spraying it on whilst drying the car and my little white Toyota has gloss like I have never seen on it before, it also seems to last fairly well between washes and doesn’t seem to gather dust as much as with many other products.

Beadmaker is definitely good to use every few weeks to top off a wash after an initial dry application, but it's definitely not the strength of some others. I use it on some cars that don't want anything long lasting. The turtle wax flex graphine product you mentioned is good on rims as well. I've introduced it the last few months. It holds up fairly well even in Winter temps. I'll have to try the dreammaker on my own car very soon. Thank you for the in-depth review and analysis. Keep up the great work!

As for shine there’s not much that can beat Prostaff CC Water Gold, also it’s durability is nowhere close to bsd but it doesn’t suck - you can get up to a month with decent weather. The ease of application is absolutely fenomenal. Sadly it comes with a price which is price. Stuff ain’t cheap. But if you haven’t tried it yet I’d suggest you give it a shot!

Been using Dream Maker for quite a while now here in the States. I agree 100% with your assessment of it. My weekend toy Z06 Corvette only sees nice weather, so it is protected with carnauba wax for maximum appearance. Before a car show or a weekend of driving, I give the paint a wipe-down with Dream Maker. It definitely boosts the gloss, and it amplifies the depth of the carnauba wax. It seems to get glossier as it cures over a few hours. No durability to speak of, but it isn't supposed to have much anyway. It just makes your paint look amazing for a few days. Well worth the price for the enhancement it offers. Great video, by the way! Really enjoying all your content!

From my experience, dream maker works fine, smells good, but serves no actual purpose you couldn't get from another product. Although I have a bottle and plan to keep one in my arsenal, its not a necessity for most people, more of a cherry on top. Dream maker solves the relatively rare, but real, problem when you have a coating that you top with beadmaker/your favorite sealant as a drying aid after maintenance washes. Then after a few maintenance washes the surface will get loaded with your sealant and start to streak. You still desire that ultra slick feeling of a fresh sealant under your towel, but don't want streaks or to alter the water behavior created by your LSP. This is where dream maker fits in. It also works well just for the gloss enhancing ability, which people showing their car might be interested in, but as with any glaze I have used, the gloss will be gone after the next rain or wash. The only thing to be cautious of is that its not a quick detailer and has no cleaning ability, you risk marring your paint if you use dream maker to wipe up dirt.

...also, I think the wow factor can be short lived as Griots, Gyeon and Carpro Elixir all provide decent gloss and slickness with additional benefits of durability and beadage, so I'm a bit perplexed where this fits in? Would it be for a sunny day when you just want some car time for the day or when you taking you car to a meet/show? For a few quid more I'm thinking of something that has more benefits 🤔

People such as me, who do not want to add protection on top of a ceramic coating that offers the best protection and hydrophobicity on planet earth; but also want a nice boost in gloss and a drying aid or final wipe…this is where a product like this comes in. I don’t want to put an inferior protection over my protection. I just want a safe drying aid and boost in gloss. A product I can wipe down after air drying my car, to make sure all the water and minerals are free, giving best gloss.

I found when using BEADMAKER that it's really glossy and really slick, looks amazing once fully cured but it doesn't last long as it attracts a lot of dust!! Very annoying when spend the time cleaning your pride and joy and then adding a gloss enhancer for the extra little touch but then the next day or 2 it's full of dust and the glass is dulled down because of it! Does this do the same thing do you know? And how long does the gloss & slickness of this last? 🤔

@Lee Francis everytime I've applied I've always followed the instructions, couple of sprays on each panel, spread then buff off and left if a good 8hrs to full cure (making sure it's not gonna rain or get wet within that time) literally a couple of days after its full of dust, I can blow on the car and the dust blows off so it's just sat on the surface, I think p&s aslo made a product to apply after beadmaker to cancel out the dust attraction but I can't be arsed applying something straight after just for that so I just stopped buying it

Among your multiple points, i would add the elephant in the room that was the main issue with beadmaker: attracting dust on the paint. Also, from the guys at rag company, the process to apply was tricky. Multiple towel, first application requires loads of products and a specific process. Not the easiest quick wax product to apply. The positive was after initial application, you can just refresh after a wash with a few spray. Dreammaker seems easier to apply according your video, so that's a plus. It also boost gloss and slickness, which were the big selling points of beadmaker. I would put dreamaker and beadmaker against each over from this. Maybe beadmaker reacts better on slightly wet cars, making a better drying aid. Or the other way around.
@Perazzi11
@Perazzi11 2 жыл бұрын
Beadmaker's only issue imo, was the freaking dust attraction! its so bad after 2 days outside it looks as if you drove down the dustiest rally stage. otherwise its a product you cant screw up with. If you have a car in dry climate forget about beadmaker especially if it sits outside.

Hey John 👋 you need to try Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash. Dilute it 3 oz to 1 gallon of water. You get a great QD/drying aid with amazing gloss and slickness just like Dreamaker but at an even better price. I’ve always thought if you’ve got a coated car why would you want to mask it with a QD that leaves protection behind? Wolfgang Uber rinseless does the majority of my cleaning work now! And I still get amazing gloss for a few days and the amazing water behaviour of my protection 👍

@@ForensicDetailing even though it’s a rinseless I can testify it absolutely leaves gloss and a lovely slickness behind. I’ve used dream maker and it’s very similar. It even encapsulates like ONR so it’s a proper rinseless wash. Its amazing stuff mate and definitely worth a go. The gloss stays for up to a week max. Oh and the scent is lovley 👍 Mckees 37 doesn’t leave anything behind but it’s better on the cleaning front due to its ability to be used as a prep spray 👍

@@ForensicDetailing Wolfgang Uber leaves behind some gloss enhancing polymers (similar to optimum no rinse in this regard). Side note that these polymers left behind don’t tend to cause any issues if you follow with another product like a sealant etc, they are not that durable and get removed by the carrier of the sealant etc.
@goatee01
@goatee01 Жыл бұрын
I use Uber (the original non-SiO2 version) as a rinseless & QD, then top it with ECH2O for a bit of ceramic & duragloss quickwax as a sacrificial layer. Probably overkill/waste but I'm trying to just use up everything I've bought. Uber is really easy to work with whereas ECH2O dilution seems to be a bit more finicky, too strong and it doesn't wipe off easily and leaves a residue. I never buff dry either, these products just seem to need a damp wipe/level. I'm sure if you got in close with the right light you might see a bit of unbuffed product behind, but I can live with that over dragging a dry cloth that may have some speck that wasn't encapsulated that I somehow missed.

Definitely more aware of how to handle a microfiber- nice to see you've got the corner between your thumb and index finger 😉. I'm planning on buying P&S brake buster to clean rims and tyres! On a different one, have you used Lithium Innerspace interior cleaner/ protector with UV protection? Just wondering if its all the hype?

@@ForensicDetailing I thinking about more of protecting plastics from UV damage and keeping the plastics healthy, I think an APC (already use Bilt Hamber Surfex HD 1 to 10 with deionised water) but want to go a step further and add a decent protective layer afterwards

@@79blustone P&S Xpress interior cleaner is awesome if you can get pass the strong cherry scent, leaves a slight darker matte tone to plastics. If you want no change in look and a even easier product thats better for info screens and gauges Griot's interior detailer is the go to stuff. I only use these two products as i dont like using apc for cleaning as i want the protection step while cleaning.
@79blustone
@79blustone 2 жыл бұрын
@@Perazzi11 I agree about protecting the plastics, apc dries it out and I don't like the looks after, I've been lightly spritzing a microfiber with some furniture polish out of a spray can which looks ok, gives a natural finish but o want to use something that's more UV and restorative. I'll have a look at P&S, Griots I'm sure I've seen something that made me mentally add a note. I'll check them both out. Just wondered if anyone has had any experience on this channel with Lithium innerspace- its bloody expensive from the US

It's been a year now. Still using this or have you moved onto something else? It'd be helpful for products like this to tape a line down the hood and spray one side with the product and leave the other side uncoated to see what actual difference it makes in terms of shine.

Good watch Jon! Think it comes down to personal preference on these type of 'gloss enhancing' products. It's something I have never used nor understood why others would, that's just me though, you clearly love it 👍 The defining question for me is could you spot this product in a line up of several cars with other well known spray detailers... I honestly don't think so & that's how I draw my conclusions personally with these type of products. Keep the content coming though mate! 👌

You can say whatever you like about bilt hamber here as long as its not rude, so say what you didn't like because it has more weight than saying they filtered you. What was the fact that did not flatter them. all sorts of sh1t housery goes down with fake comments. What you should do is stop posting under a fake profile, and back your words up with your real identity, because the way you are obsessed about this suggests to me you have a vested interest in this some how.

It's not suspicious. No distributer wants to drop brands, they are their to sell them and make money and TRC go well beyond what other distributers do with social media to show people products. If i had a brand i would be on their case to stock it. Maybe it just was not selling or there were commercial problems. Who knows.
