Actually dream doesn't have full control over enderwalk most people have a theory that he can manipulate him a bit but ranboo in enderwalk still has all of ranboos memories and the reasons that causes the enderwalk is stressful or fearfull emotional as see by that experiments and that is the reason :) ranboo still has control over his body in enderwalk and no other person can mind control him though they could manipulate him in to doing things but any ways it is an interesting theory

From a purely literary standpoint, I believe Dream's tactics will be a bit different when he escapes the prison. If he starts doing exactly what he used to, his actions will be easily predictable, which will make the 'plot twists' less interesting. A solution to this would be to keep Dream in prison (on the sidelines) until the server falls into chaos or another war begins. Then, Dream could re-enter the action as the opposing sides would realise he could make a valuable ally.

In that case, if Dream revives Tubbo, the president of L'manburg, will be the best way to destroy L'Manberg. And then, Dream would probably kill Tubbo once again for the leverage against the entire SMP.
