In my experience, when someone calls the clock in an quick or irritating manner, they want a call. I can’t remember ever seeing someone lose a hand when they quick-call the clock

I don’t mind people calling the clock, if it’s been MORE than a reasonable amount of time. As a dealer, they can deny a clock call if it hasn’t met that threshold. 60 seconds in a big pot to an over bet, as a dealer myself, I’m denying that clock call when the floor gets there. 2-3 minutes ok, anything more, definitely good to go.

I think the K-10 hand might be a fold considering the possible flush. I realize no one had the flush but it’s definitely in their range . Heads up it’s a no brainer call, just maybe not multi-way.. Dude in 1/2 and 1/3 you’ll be surprised the bullshit people play. If you’re just playing ABC you can have a steady profit with only small bits of getting unlucky. 2/5 and up they’ll catch on to how you play and exploit it but the low stakes people are having fun or just aren’t good. I’ve only got about 100 hrs at the tables of 1/2 and 1/3 because I just turned 21 this year but keep grinding man. Good luck

Such a tough spot with the ace high! I think the main reason that it's a good fold is that an important quality about ace high calldowns is that there needs to be effectively a zero percent chance that they turn a pair into a bluff. Yes, he did check behind twice, but maybe he thinks that you might have an overpair and is turning a six into a bluff. He's definitely not balanced there and will have a lot of air, but having a J is worse than calling with stuff like AK/AQ since a lot of his 3bet calls that are air (from an action player like this) are going to have a J, so you have bad card removal. Definitely don't blame you for the fold! I think calling AK/AQ and folding AJ is good enough :)

ok wolfgang, as i mention to many people you have to have justification for everything u do in a hand, including folding! so before folding ask yourself why am i folding? i have won many pots with ace high. my opponents all looked at me like how can u call there and some have called me a fish. but i was the one scooping the pot!!! so if i were you i would have ask myself why are u pushing me out of the pot? if he had a draw of some sort there would have been a bet on the flop. if he had a pair, he would have bet the turn, so what is he representing here? any one pair hand in this spot has show down value and should never bet here. so by process of elimination, i would put him on a high card hand and called.

He almost never has it on that overbet. If he's got a so so decent hand , he'll take it to showdown. If he has a big hand, he's going to try to get paid. You're not the type to pay off an overbet with a bluff catcher. You played it passively so you can't be that strong. The most logical conclusion is he's bluffing. He's got more bluffs than anything.
