Chris was truly an incredible dancer. Loved his voice too especially singing Broadway.When he was on Austin and Ally, it would've been cool to see a little dance off

For whatever reason, this popped up in my feed tonight. Holy memory lane. I smiled the entire time watching this as tears also fell. I can't believe it's been almost 4 and half years since Chris was taken from us. It still blows my mind that he's gone. Same as Aaron Carter. They both hurt so much as they were both such a big part of my childhood. This is soo freakin nostalgic and makes me long for those days again, even though at the time, I felt alone, not nearly as bad as I do now as an adult. I would give anything to go back. I was lucky enough to have gotten to see Jesse again live, this year. God it was so nostalgic seeing him in person again after nearly 17 years. Jeeze. Getting old sucks lol.

Chris said a few days ago that they might be doing a reunion tour. That they are talking to each other about it. But, who knows if anything will come out of the talks? I'm with you though, I hope they do one that would be amazing. Dream Street was one of my favorite boy bands right along with Backstreet Boys and N'sync. If there was to be a reunion though, I don't know if Jesse would be apart of it? I hope he would be if there was to be one, but who knows?
@IvorySapphire226 жыл бұрын
Carrie Johnson The question is, would Jesse be on board? Also, Matt and his wife just had a daughter on Monday, and Greg's wife is expecting their second child. A tour might be tough right now.
@12Carrie906 жыл бұрын
IvorySapphire22 Well, I did say that probably nothing will come out of it. I'm honestly not holding my breath. I really don't see one happening. I was just repeating what Chris said in one of his Facebook live videos. I didn't know Matt and his wife just had a daughter, or Greg and his wife are expecting again. Great for them!! But, IF there ever was one, however unlikely that would be, I would be so down for that, lol.

that's soo true. I honestly believe that theory of the music business. At least DS had to pass an audition to prove that they're amazing even though we already know they are. The other it's like the parent pay an agent to get their child a record deal. It's what separates Stars from Amateurs.

I don't know dude, I was pretty shocked to see them performing on this show. But now that I think about it, the producers who put this group together were involved in sex or something, so it shouldn't be too surprising. But on the other hand, NSYNC apparently performed on this show

@richardgrace45004 жыл бұрын
If you have ever watched the liver performance of the song for "pokemon" that they did the entire audience was kinda like "ehhhhh" the winter song until jesse took over and slammed into his high af note lol
@luceafarul5794 жыл бұрын
I would actually disagree. One could easily argue he had one of the weakest vocal here when his voice still hasn’t developed to its full potential yet. He was the most successful solo artist because he was the one who had the most complete package: looks (he and Chris Trousdale were the only two really good looking boys), charisma, song writing skills, acting skills, as well as singing talent. And It was very apparent that after the ex dream street boys matured he turned out to be one of the best singers also, along with I would argue Matt Ballinger. The two of them have the most special voice, musicality and tonality (Chris turned out to be a very weak singer which was why he couldn’t make it through even in the first performance of The Voice). But Jesse’s charisma and on stage presence beat Matt by a big mile. So that’s why he’s the most successful one. You need more than just singing skills to become successful. In fact you can even have a relatively weak vocal and be the most successful artist, like Taylor Swift, if you have the other things, such as good instinct for song writing and stage presence.
@richardgrace45004 жыл бұрын
@@luceafarul579 you need to go and watch them when they when they sang "they dont understand" (or whatever the pokemon song was).. nobody in the audience was paying attention to the performance until jessie started singing and slammed into the high notes and started doing vocal runs which nobody else in the group could do or even come remotely close to doing..
@luceafarul5794 жыл бұрын
Richard Grace um.. first of all, that is just your assumption, it may simply be that they assigned that part to him, not because nobody else could do it, and second of all, high notes aren’t everything about singing you know? It’s also your projection, your vocal quality. There are many people who can sing falsettos or whistles well but not chest voice, that doesn’t necessarily make them the best singer.
@luceafarul5794 жыл бұрын
Richard Grace yeah just saw it. Nope he was off pitch all over the place and the voice does not sound like quality voice, sounds extremely weak and thin. In dreamstreet Gregory Raposo was clearly the best singer. But Jesse McCartney is much better than him after his vocal maturation.
