Here's a list of the musical motifs I've noticed in this overture: 0:23 Lord Nafaryus 0:44 The X Aspect 1:13 Heaven's Cove 1:46 The fight scene from The Path That Divides 2:28 Faythe's theme (plays several times on the album, but most prominent in Act of Faythe) 2:56 Brother, Can You Hear Me? 3:25 A New Beginning 3:46 A Tempting Offer 4:00 Astonishing

Scott Stevens It's not a Metal album. But that doesn't take the credit away. It has lots of emotion, and progressive elements, and it has a nice story and concept. If you want more metal, there's still Train of Thought. DT is going to prefer doing something they've never done than repeating themselves.

When the scope of the whole album finally sinks in and you come back to this track, it just sounds so amazing to hear all the themes collected here at the beginning. They knew this album would be tricky for a lot of people to get behind, but they stuck with their ideas and stood behind them, and left it to the fans to really delve into just how compact and unified they'd made this album. That deserves a lot of praise in my book!
