At about 6:17 to 6:59 I noticed a few ghost kick notes? Maybe a few extras like | | | instead of - | |. Was something caught that I couldn't hear?

Yes they are ghost notes! They are obvious when listening to the drum track in isolation but get buried a little bit in the mix!
