I didn't understand this until recently, but I get Techno's history reference now- after hyperfixating on the Qin dynasty for about a month, that is. The king of the Qin state, Ying Zheng (the guy who ran around a pillar) later went on to conquer the Seven Warring States and become the First Sovereign Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. Techno, of course, went on to conquer Minecraft KZbin, becoming the King of Minecraft and an Internet LEGEND. And not only did he win this duel, but he also forever won my respect and admiration for his humor, heart, and historical knowledge. I miss knowing that I'll never see a notification from his channel, that I'll never get to chant TECHNOBLADE UPLOADED! to anyone who would listen, that I'd never hear another one of his endlessly witty quips. Watching his videos and hearing his voice again makes me laugh and cry at the same time, thinking about the joy and laughter of what was, the sad reality of what is, and the emptiness and missed opportunities of what will never be. But even though he is no longer with us, he lives on- through every single one of his uploads, the art and lore created by millions of fans around the world, and the people he inspired by his courage to persevere through adversity. The reason Techno is better is that he would actually consider doing that. He has a level of patience and commitment that Dream cannot match. If Techno were the runner in a manhunt, he would just run for thousands of blocks, delaying the fight until eventually he managed to amass a crushing advantage.
