I recently found Our mirage due to spotify recommendations and ive been binge listening to all their songs since then. From a young age ive always struggled with bullying and depression, and music has always been a way out for me. This song in particular hits me like a truck, Its so incredibly relatable to me. It's about realizing that your life is not worth dying for just Becuase you don't belong. in dem text geht es darum, dass der Charakter gut behütet aufgewachsen ist, allerdings sich alles für ihn geändert hat, als er in die Schule kam und sich alle gegen ihn gewendet haben. Er wurde gemobbt gehänselt und verprügelt, ohne zu verstehen womit er das verdient hat. Er dachte, dass er es einfach nicht verdient hat zu leben und hat sich somit mit 10 Jahren versucht umzubringen. Doch bevor es zu spät war hat er eine Entscheidung getroffen und erkannt, dass er nicht das Problem ist sondern die anderen. Er hat verstanden, dass er es nicht verdient hat und somit sein Leben geändert. Er hat die Schule gewechselt, neue wahre Freunde gefunden und sich selbst aus dem Loch geholt. Diese Erfahrung hat ihn zu der Person gemacht die er heute ist, er ist positiv eingestellt und nicht Depressiv obwohl er sich auch dazu hätte entscheiden können in seinem Kummer zu versinken und sein Leben als Katastrophe anzusehen.
