I really like that you mentioned that you purchased the Dreambox 2 to give an honest review. I just received my Dreambox about a month ago and didn’t know a new version was coming out. I probably would have waited had I known. On the other hand, I am grateful. There are a lot of people that really want one and can’t afford one. I do like the bigger table on the one I have but like the versatility in the organization in the new one. Thank you for your review.

I have the DB1 and I love my bigger adjustable height table. I hate that the new one loses that. I already store my mats in the notions tote section so that doesn’t count as an upgrade imo. The only thing I really want from the DB2 are those stronger hinges.

Make a note of 12:35 safety kit installation. This box, and any tall object like a bookshelf, needs to have safety brackets attached to connect it to the wall. If you have children and pets that like to climb things, or if you are in an earthquake area, the brackets will keep it from toppling over and crushing someone.

Create Room actually makes a magnetic board that goes on the otherside of the swing doors that you can put your metal dies on -- it's very popular. There are lots of people with those craft supplies that love the DreamBox. :)

Great review. I really appreciate the fact that you spend your own money for items rather than being gifted them by the manufacturer. I have the DreamBox I, so I will not be upgrading, but I like some of these new features, #1 being the table design. Dealing with the legs on mine is a pain sometimes!

Awesome!!! The long dividers will give you the most tote storage. The short divider is what you'd want if you want to put a computer with a large monitor in. If you change your mind about which divider to get, you can contact Create Room and have them modify your order.

Dimensions open are 9'2" wide by 5'11 tall" Dimensions closed are 3'4" wide by 2'11" deep by 5'11" tall. The US site with the DreamBox 2 does not ship to the UK, but there is a UK division at uk.createroom.com. They don't have the DreamBox 2 yet however. Keep an eye on their site and/or my emails for news. :)

Hi there! Wow, you really know all about the DreamBox 2. I have an office that I use for my jewelry business. It's Direct Sales. I don't make it. I also use my office for my crafting which is planning and journaling and all things associated with that such as stickers, wash tape, pens, etc. I have about 30 leather planners that I really do not know where to keep them and journal book dating back to about 5 years. I also have a sewing machine which I hope to use some day. My wall is over nine feet but it would cover a window. At an angle, seven feet may work. I still do not know if this DreamBox 2 is right for me. What more can I do to determine if I should get one? I currently have a desk for my business and a crafting table in my office.

There's a switch on a cord on the DreamBox. But I recommend you either get an inexpensive wireless switch or a smart plug, like I did, as it makes it easier to turn on and off. :)
