The voice you thought was Siyeon/Yoohyeon in the first Shadow version was Dami….😅 I wish people would specify that you should watch the lyric videos when they request these songs because otherwise it does get really hard to tell who’s who at some points and Dami doesn’t get the credit she deserves for a lot of lines-especially for having the highest notes in both versions. I actually did think you were gonna be watching the lyric videos since you put the pic of one in the thumbnail! The woman in the MV for the show really does look a lot like Dami though! I’m always torn about which version I like more. The original is SO cool and I love the effect they put on Dami’s voice, but the slow version is so emotional and such a vocal flex for both of them. Siyeon’s Overdose cover is just…mind blowing every single time I watch it. Not just her voice but how absolutely calm and relaxed she is on stage. It was for a competition show called V-1, and this performance was for the semifinals! She ended up coming in second, and honestly a lot of people think she should have won. I think the reason she didn’t was because the other girl chose a song with a lot of high notes which is really preferred for female vocalists in Korean, while Siyeon’s song was a very similar range to this one, so it didn’t really show off anything new about her vocals. Even though clearly, she CAN hit those high notes. She’s Dreamcatcher’s main vocal for a reason! Yoohyeon is an amazing singer, but Siyeon’s on a whole other level. That’s not to say she definitely would have won if she did chose a different and more challenging song, cuz the other girl was a great singer too, but I think it would have helped her chances. Sua is just an incredible vocalist as well as a dancer and I looove this cover so much for letting her show that off. She can actually hit the highest noted of anyone in the group. And I love that it kind of shows off her acting skills as well. She perfectly captures this mix of danger and hypnotic beauty. Sahara is the most fun thing ever 😂 They have theee other self-made ones too! Break the Wall, Poison Love, and Curse of the Spider (though that one sadly only exists online as fancams) and they’re all just as hilarious and chaotic as you’d expect. Thanks so much for doing this! I love seeing all the InSomnia reactors doing special things for DC’s anniversary. It makes being part of the fandom really special!

Nice reaction. Dreamcatcher is my top favorite K-pop group ! When I went to see Dreamcatcher's New York concert 3 years ago, I was amazed at their great vocal and dance skills, and I, my friends and all the audience were enthusiastic about the three-hour performance. It gave me goosebumps and admiration to see them dance and sing brilliantly at the same time. The concert fever still makes my heart flutter. Many thanks. From N.Y.

Great set of videos. Though, if I remember correctly, I did ask to react to Shadow Lyrics version to see why we hype so much, for Dami. Maybe my comment got lost in the many comments. 😅
