Recently Jiu was having conversation with Sua about them turning big 30...naturally they are worried about their body holding up for the choreos up on the stage... But instead of worrying about their own pain, they worry more about disappointing InSomnias.... How can you not love them? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

IIRC they have said that Chase Me was their most challenging choreo bc they are constantly moving through the whole song. New trainees have to learn the choreo now as part of their selection process in some agencies bc it's so hard. Edit: Speaking of SuA kicking, wait til you get to the Odd Eye choreo, lmao! Also, something you will notice in all their dance practices is that their choreographer always gives Siyeon little moments to stand off to the side and pop off with her belts, so she's not trying to move and belt at the same time. :)

Fly High is the only Dreamcatcher Korean title track without a Dance practice video. As great as the Fly High Performance video is, it doesn't show some of the more indicate moves in the Dance. They only released the recordings of the dance practices after they had already perfected it so 'practice' is subjective. But at least we get the choreo at all. 'Chase Me' choreo is still used for training purposes in companies when they nave newbies come in. It's DIFFICULT because there is no break for anybody from start to finish. That one gets used to judge a dancer's patience and endurance (and see how long it takes for them to recover energy afterward).

I will never get tired of watching their dance practices, im not a dancer by any means but i can imagine how long they practiced to get every single detail perfect, its so satisfying to see Edit: I was waiting for the reaction to the magic stick, she does it in the mv too but its less noticeable when it appears, you can only tell when shes alr holding it up and everyone screams when it happens on stage 😅 It was iconic, pls bring it back

Piri was when Gahyeon really started to go hard on dieting and exercise. She was always the weakest dancer in Dreamcatcher and following her development over the years is fascinating. The Dystopia trilogy was when all the hard work really paid off and she became the equal of the other members. She still doesn't have quite as much endurance as the others, but you seldom see it. During one of their livestream concerts they danced the Dystopia trilogy without a break. At the end all the members were still on their feet except Gahyeon, who was on the floor.

Happyface spun off Dreamcatcher Company just for Dreamcatcher, but the studio is in the Happyface Company building. Happyface is called HF Music Company now and handles trainees and some solo artists. The Korean business world is like a Dreamcatcher dance, everything moves around quickly yet still remains the same.

I think groups that come from small companies tend to have better choreos, it reminds me a lot of BTS, they started in a small company like dreamcatcher and they remind them of that..

Fly High is where they began to put a lot of symbolism into their dances too. There are several points where they seem to be fighting something, where they put something on and then take it off, or where Gahyeon gets pulled back and sort of thrown twisting off. This is where they were corrupted, the start of it all. The fight between the lighter music, then the guitar coming in, trying to break away, right up to where you gasped at Jiu pushing down Dami's hand. Yeah, they keep up the symbolic movements hardcore after that. And damn, PIRI's dance is so powerful. The straight line is something fans have actually asked to see again in things.

Also, keep in mind that when they debuted, Dongie and Gahyeon had only been training for like 6 months. The choreography is very complex and synchronized. It’s what makes them winning Radom dance in shows like Weekly Idol so hard lately. Especially when there may have different choreography for chorus one and chorus 2. They may be on one side of the formation for one chorus and then on the other side of the formation for another chorus. So in random dance not only do they have to figure out the song, but also which verse or chorus, what the corresponding choreography is and where their spots in that formation are.. then there is when the song gets sped up to make it even more challenging. Especially if it’s the choreography of a song they haven’t done in a while- like a nightmare series song. Just in case you were wondering: Scream: normal dance MV, suit version, previous outifts version, and dance practice. Black or white- Dinggo, red sun- special clip choreography. Sahara- self made MV Boca: dance practice and dance MV. Break the wall- self made MV Odd eye: Dyatopia version dance MV, dance practice, random chosen outfits version (it’s hilarious the outfits). Wind Blows (a b-side) has a play color. Poison love- self made MV. The apocalypse titles have at least the dance practice. Can’t remember if there are dance mvs off the top of my head. I believe Maison has a play color. The Maison choreography had many of the members saying how hard it was and that it maybe harder than Chase Me. Demain has a special clip choreo video.

Yoohyeon is my main bias and I first fell for her because of her smile, but whenever I see her in dance practice videos like these I'm like "....why ....why do you have to look like that? and dress like that?"😭 I remember one time I was watching a different video of someone reacting to their dance practices, and this person didn't really know their names yet but they pointed to Yoohyeon saying "she's really good at dancing huh........ wait or is she just really attractive?" and now I have to think about that every time I see a dance practice 😂 (obviously she also _is_ a good dancer and they're all beautiful lol)

You noticed how in synch they are, dude, their dances are known for that and for how complicated they are! AND THEY SING THESE LIVE. One of Insomnicy's videos is of other idols talking about Dreamcatcher on their v-lives, and they come around to DC's choreo at one spot. Na Goeun from Purple Kiss talks about them in awe and says that some of DC's dances are used to evaluate how Purple Kiss members are improving! (They're a younger group that some have jokingly called the 'Monster High' version of horror theme, where DC are the 'slashers' XD Rolling Quartz I guess would be the grindhouse indy horror then!) I don't believe this channel is updated anymore, which is unfortunate, but I have to wonder if they might have been chased off by fans of other groups they analyzed. When you reach the end of a video, it play/pause turns into a replay button, likely triggered with the spacebar as well. If you want to save yourselve from stress over pressing pause to keep the video from moving on to the next, you may want to grab the Autoplay Settings for KZbin extension which allows the video to just stop at the end and not automatically go to the nest. Then you just click the Next button on the toolbar to move on when ready.

​@@NewChapterReactions Yeah, I have multiple extensions I used to wrangle in KZbin. BlockTube - to block channels and videos from being seen anymore. FreshView for KZbin - Hides previously or partially view videos from specific pages. Remember subtitle settings for KZbin - to have it automatically detect when subtitles are needed and automatically set foreign subtitles to Auto translated to English. Just a timesaver there. KZbin-shorts block - automatically redirects Shorts to play like regular videos (there's no difference other than how they play). KZbin No Buffer - Stop Auto-playing - If you prefer videos (not in playlist) to open stopped, although since it relies on scripting it doesn't always work but still useful. Hopefully YT doesn't eat this comment.

So here's what I always wonder about with "Chase Me", how did that part where Siyeon is singing Handong's line go live? Cause in the MV, they show Handong. In the choreo, Handong gets that moment, but it would still be Siyeon's voice on the backing track. So did Handong sing it live, or did Siyeon? For me it's most things with Yoohyeon or SuA: Really Really, Oh My!, Secret Love Song (tissue warning), Copycat, Touch, Havana. And the iconic dance covers Abracadabra and Taki Taki (spice warning for all those).

In What my eyes couldn't go fast enough and I still have a somewhat hard time telling members apart from afar(I'll get there I promise) and so my eyes just landed on this one girl who was grabbing my attention and at the end I found out it was Jiu 😂. I'm just not used to her with blonde hair and I felt like my looking far away issue with glasses on even, didn't help. These songs are so addicting and they are so insync and look so gorgeous.

Okay, I think you're ready. I've been wanting to suggest a new group for you to react to but I wanted to let you work your way through most of the Dreamcatcher videos first. And now, here we are. You seem to be enjoying Dreamcatcher's dark concept. Another one of my favorite groups also has a dark concept like Dreamcatcher. I tend to refer to them as the 4th gen version of Dreamcatcher. Not because they have the same sound, because they don't. They definitely have their own sound. But they do have a lot of other things in common with Dreamcatcher. First, they're a girl group. Second, as I said they also have a dark concept. In fact, they tend to lean into the darkness a bit more than Dreamcatcher. Third, they too are from a very small company. This has led to them having a case of what I call "Small Companyitis", meaning that, unlike groups from the big companies, they have to work much harder to get their name out there. They're effectively building their fanbase from scratch, much like DC had to do when they first got started. Fourth, they have a story line running through their title tracks, again like DC. Last but not least, they are a very talented group of people. Their vocal and rap skills are nothing to sneeze at. Their dancing skills and choreography, IMO, is some of the best in the industry. The storytelling in their choreos are next level. Did I hype them up enough? Are you interested? Well, I guess I should tell you the name of the group then. It's Pixy, from All Art Entertainment. They've only been around for a couple years so their discography is not super extensive. At this point they only have 6 title tracks. They are... Wings Let Me Know Addicted Bewitched Villains Karma To help you decipher the story, Wings, Let Me Know and Addicted all have "World View" videos that go along with them. Each of the title tracks all have dance practices that go with them as well, with the exception of Bewitched which is a more of a dance performance video. I know you like to stack you reactions with more than one video at a time. It seems that you 'go to' is 3 videos per reaction. That would be perfect for the first three reactions here. You could group the World View video, the MV and the dance practice for each of the first three title tracks. You can work out the other 3 however you want, maybe couple them up with b-side videos or other performance videos. It's all up to you.
