And now you know why Siyeon is the Main Vocalist of DreamCatcher. Even Disney liked Siyeon's Speechless cover. YES, she has covers and every member also has some original solo songs. Most of those covers are done by the full group or a couple of sub-units; somebody on YT made a playlist of all of DC's covers, it's searchable (hopefully it is actually on DC's channel or maybe it is on Happy Face's channel). Siyeon is in a sub-unit with DC's Main Rapper, Dami. Those two covered Hyuna and Dawn's song called Ping Pong. Siyeon and Dami also did a pair of OSTs for a Korean Drama called Dark Hole; the songs are both called Shadow but one of them is called the 'slow version'. You honestly really need to hear both and both have music videos for them which are completely related to the drama, so you never actually see Siyeon or Dami in the videos but the videos really go hand-in-hand with the songs. There are also Color-Coded Lyric Videos on other channels on YT for both versions. You would be SURPRISED at what Dami can do, even if you already expect all that greatness from Siyeon. :)

If you are looking for covers, you found the right group. They've done so fucking many for Special Clips and for concert performances. They are all absolute fire. Dreamcatcher either nail the living shit out of the original or they put a twist on the production and make it their own. Either way, it's a fun time for us. Super easy example, they performed a rock version of BlackPink's "Kill This Love" at Kpop Flex this past summer. It's pretty dope. Also, yeah, Siyeon has some covers and also a few solo songs. Somebody on one of these reaction videos said "Never let Dreamcatcher cover your song." I am no fan of diva singing, because most of it seems to me like overheated empty strutting. But there is no strutting here. Her English is imperfect, the presentation is naive, and good a singer as she is, no this is not technically "flawless" like the Disney version. But goddamn I'll take this any day over all the flawless olympian divas you can trot out, because the sincerity is heartrending like nothing I have ever seen or heard. In fact the "flaws," whether accidental or deliberate, are totally on point -- because this song is about demanding respect simply for being your honest and humble self. Unforgettable stuff by someone who will shake her head and tell you you're wrong if you call her a top-rank vocalist.

This is great. You might also want to check out Solar's cover of the same thing on Solarsido. In her case it's acapella. She was learning it for a performance at Kcon, which is also out there but the audio is not very good.

Mamamoo's Solar cover version is better because she sings it 100% live in her KCON stage performance and her live acapella version on her Solarisdo channel while Siyeon is singing this but it's not 100% live, the recorded studio audio version has been added in post production.
