Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house", and they are singing about everyone's house, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Safe my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Safe my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Safe my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Safe my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. I especially like the pre-chorus, which seems to appear out of nowhere, and the chord progression in the bridge. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the girls perform the song amazingly.
