We just received our x30 earlier this week and really like it. The brush Dreame talks about is not included (tricut), the website talks about it like it’s included. The only thing it’s missing that the X40 has is the extending brush just like the extending mop.

If this thing has a full bin sensor or a user adjustable empty timer. I would like to see the stress test with this.

Hey Adam, you should get the Neato XV signature

I think you might already have this covered but mop cleaning and drying cycle electricity consumption would be interesting.
@xeon2k82 ай бұрын
as a curious info, else if you are concerning about your bills then you shouldnt spend 1.5K in a robot
@Domski7772 ай бұрын
@@xeon2k8 That's not the case. I've read some report that these bases use a very high amount of electricity. I think it's prudent to know of all costs involved with owning one of these.
@xeon2k82 ай бұрын
@@Domski777 they dont, the highest consumption is when the dust extraction is on and takes about 1kw, dryer is 250w for 2h, that's it, washing is negligible

Looking forward to seeing your review on this one, the other reviews I've seen have been really positive, other reviews suggest that this is the best robot available right now. Another robot I would love to see you test is the new Eufy X10 pro omni. It also has gotten really good reviews. Some reviews say the Eufy X10 pro omni has the best object avoidance right now. Irobot continues to fall behind, not sure if you plan on reviewing the Roomba combo J9 Plus but I think if Irobot does not come out with something major soon they will be done. Eufy, Roborock, Dreametech and Ecovacs have gotten so far ahead of them. Supposedly the Combo J9 Plus uses a 4400 MAH battery, which is smaller than the other major brands, they still use the camera for navigation instead of Lidar, there is no spinning or vibrating mop pads and there is no automatic mop washing or drying, but they are charging a similar price as the high end robots from the other brands.

I agree, iRobot used to be one of the best and then they decided not to come out with new tech. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they go under.

unfortunately a lot of people in the US are still buying iRobot because of the brand name and they dont know better

@@xeon2k8 Yea they really messed up...for what they are they are still real good vacuums but now they are wayyyyy overpriced compared to even some of the basic roborocks

@@AdamsReviews You might find this video interesting, apparently Amazon buying Irobot has fallen through so who knows what they will come out with in the future. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYunhKmPZZmah8U

I see it has a small opening in the dust bin, I have the problem on the Omni where it has a small opening to exvacuate the dirt. Hair and such always get stuck on that small opening and keep it from getting rid of the dirt and the dust bin fills up over time. Witch the make the dust bin with a larger opening to exvcuate the dirt.
@AdamsReviews2 ай бұрын
I will let you know in the review if its affected.

About the self-cleaning: "That's a feature i have never seen in any other robot vacuum before" , the S8 pro ultra has self-cleaning and then the S7 max ultra came along too with it. It was never implemented in spinning mops, though it's mostly a problem in dreame since with Roborock you just extract the whole base and rinse it under the tap. Even with this system on Dreame, it was shown that you still need to get down there and brush the part that the self cleaning scrubbers dont get to. Looking forward for the full video
