I like dreame, but honestly the X40 Ultra has issues falsely recognizing wet messes, which leave spots unvacuumed. Also it's object avoidance isn't bad, but again causes it to miss areas. To me it's clear that narwal makes better robot vacuums overall.

Yes that's why I kept it is because it's built like a tank but it does not vacuum very well and I really need a good vacuum with all the animals I'm hoping that can be fixed with a software update

What about scale? Isn't it better to use distilled water ? Thanks. I am considering the dreame or roborock over irobot but I am afraid of the apps being wonky and having too many options. Also, not sure if there a lot of dreame parts around where I live

Distilled water is a good idea, but so far, I haven't experienced build-up.

For my Dreame S10 Ultra cleaning robot vacuum, I use filtered rainwater that I collect for watering plants in the house and garden.

It’s not good for the price, it’s high time Dreame stop „innovating” and start getting their equipment out of the beta state. It’s all unfinished, unpolished, buggy, not precise in cleaning, and not updated often enough. I wouldn’t recommend getting that one.
