Dreaming of a White Christmas- (Barack Obama Parody!)

For those of you who don't know what "public option" is, it is the viciously debated proposed health care insurance program that would be offered by the government.
There's tons of support for it and also tons of opposition to it. In thinking of which Christmas song to spoof, White Christmas came to mind because if there's one thing Barack Obama is "dreaming" of....it's a "Public Option".

I suggest watching "sicko". It talks about health insurance in other countries compared to us. Every industrialized country already has FREE universal health coverage and only America doesn't. High taxes won't mean anything in the long term and everyone is going to have health issues might as well pay them so when the time comes our lives won't be in debt. current health companies are paying more to the workers who deny the most people looking for health insurance.

We singers do that sometimes because it's easier to get the pitch right when u put ur finger in ur ear. When u are listening to a lot of instruments and a stage mix or the sound from certain sources, it can make things 'muddy' (echo, room, effects etc). Putting your finger in your ear concentrates the sound to your head and you can hear the pitch you are delivering more clearly & adjust if need be. Try it urself. Sing something or talk & stick ur finger in ur ear. U will hear the difference.

Man you guys need healthcare so much. You get all the coverage, and its almost nothing. Just a bit extra on taxes. For the same coverage it is less than most private healthcare plans. Most perscriptions are covered, most hospital fees are covered. Even the vast majority of chemotherapy is covered, which most private plans dont touch at all. Also, you can buy additional coverage privately if you dont feel you have enough.

He's put people in charge of government agencies that had better credential than they ran horse shows and opposed abortion, for one. He passed SCHIP. He takes environmental concerns seriously, instead of kowtowing to industry at every turn. He takes war seriously, instead of using it to gain power domestically. In response to this, you should realize that the vast majority of people who become doctors do it because they want to help people. Obviously the paycheck is a nice bonus, but that's not the biggest motivator. We have a public option for education, and I think we all know teachers aren't in it for the money. It's the same concept, really. For people who don't want their children in a public school, they have the option of private schooling.

Now, for those who can afford it and don't want to wait in a 4 hour line, they always have the option of private insurance. You have an option, "hence public option".
