Hello Pablo! I came accross your channel from a video of Lindie's and I am very happy that I came across your channel! Now I feel like I can finally be 'immersed' in the language rather than just passively listening to something I don't understand. Thank you so so much for making these videos. You helped a lot of people

Your impressions and hand gestures are so intuitive to understand. The photocopier bit made me laugh too. Great job! Keep up the good work!

These videos are awesome. I am American and studied Spanish for only 2 years in high school and that was almost 20 years ago. I recently decided to revisit learning Spanish and found this channel. It’s amazing how much I am able to understand in your super beginner series from just what I remember learning so long ago. I would say I can understand half the vocabulary and I can pick up almost the rest through the context in the way you present it. Of course your speaking slow and repetition is what really helps it all and I believe is fundamental if you are really going to learn. Understanding to read the text and understanding a person speaking the language are vastly different and I hope as I continue to self study I can advance through your videos and those of a higher level and continue to understand them!
@oldmedstudent17502 жыл бұрын
Wow I understood like 75-80% of this video! Thank you so much for making super beginner videos. I feel like too many videos skip over the super beginner stage and expect people already have a good working knowledge of the language. This channel was recommended by one of my Spanish teachers.

Muy bueno! What a fantastic find. Exactly what I needed at this phase in my spanish learning. Story telling, slow pace, no english, just listen and watch the graphics. After 6 weeks of intense verbs, conjugations and rules that I can barely straight; it is time to follow along in practical scenarios since I have enough vocabulary. So great suggestion by El Metodo.

Hi there. Two years is too long time. Please stop doing what you've been doing so far without success. Just watch this and all other videos from Superbeginner Dreaming Spanish. Now. Don't wait for anything "before you can understand". That's the whole point of this channel. You will not regret and will see results very soon.

Is it best to watch this with or without the captions? I can read spanish on a very basic level but my listening skills are not as good. I will understand so much better with them but I'm afraid I might be stunting my listening skills by reading. I tried without them and got stumped, when he said 'ablando' and I looked it up and google had it as 'softening' which made no sense. Then I switched on the captions and saw that it was 'hablando' lol
@mr.osamabingaming26333 жыл бұрын
Do it without the captions so you can learn to listen to Spanish. Or perhaps you can read the captions on the first time watching it, then on the subsequent viewings without captions.

Carlitos's videos are a bit hard for the superbeginner level, and we probably should have put them on the beginner level. Try watching other superbeginner videos like the games.

my experience is that long videos with many new words have to be watched many times. what i do is watch it a couple times and then move on to other videos. then i come back and watch the harder ones again and i notice good progress. if i was to start over, i would start with the food videos. for example, What We Eat And Drink: Spain VS Japan is a much easier one to understand. another good one is titled Sweet And Sour Things.
