Coming back to all his MVs after Ian explained the colours so clearly in his recent live, I can see so much more. The blue washes of the hybrid, the green and violet of Mr Insanity and of course the red and black of Mito. They add a layered dimension to the video that picks out the perspectives of the three characters. I'm going to have to watch some more to work out if this is all happening at the same time, with different perspectives, or just windows onto different times.

What make this song a masterpiece are the combination of beautiful sounds. The whistle, the strings, the keyboard, and the perfect trumpet part which make the song sounds funky and jazzy at the same time. And can't forget every aesthetic scene that Ian try to tell a story behind them. The cinematography here is amazing. No words can describe more for this quality music video.

The way this music video has been produced is truly mesmerising; the cinematography, the set the whole aesthetic to the video is just so captivating. What I like most is that the concept of the video is not what I would have originally expected from first hearing the song. But, this contrast is what makes the song even more memorable, it is truly so unique and original which is hard to see now a days. I can see there is a deeper meaning behind it the video, Im so curious about the ending and I hope to hear more! One the best music videos I have seen in a long time, I have rewatched it several times truly in awe .It captures so many different music styles and is just wowww. I love reading thoughtful comments like this. I couldn't agree more; the video is haunting and the imagery is unforgettable especially the rain inside and him floating to the ceiling. It's beautiful but in a subverted and eerie way, just like the orchestral elements in the song. I would have expected a more classy video to go with the song, but I'm pleased and in awe of his artistic vision to provide something not only elegant, but also something slightly raw, dishevelled and rich in symbols which leaves the viewer on edge (which is also enhanced sonically too!) A masterpiece to say the least!

I wonder if the demeanor of Mito is so much more fluid because he doesn’t carry the same anxiety/concerns of presenting properly that Ian himself does. Even in scenes of looking at his hands, Ian looks concerned/curious, but when Mito is presenting, it’s somehow…pride?
