Garbage...We are subservient to the US there is no "mateship" the Yanks did a study after the war and it found they could do what they liked here as long as we didn't have to pay for it. I suggest reading Wikileaks Secret Australia to see how embedded they're here. As for the bond, Macarthur rode the Australians for not going hard enough in Pupa New Guinea. It turned out Australia was days ahead of the Yanks, the Australian general then said to Macarthur, "Where are you? All fairy tales, the reality is Australia is without sovereignty, and we can thank the UK and US.
