(Not a Jack Frost fan boy...in fact I only saw RotG last year ):Pitch is a great villain he only seems as such due to many looking at him from surface levels,(he is very intimidating like both scenes where he confronts Jack give shivers down your spine...)he is truly a great antagonist who doesnt deserve to be dunked on.Simple characters?Each character is different and unique and are greatly.Too Simple?No...in fact it feels reminiscent of a classic fairy tale to a degree having also on the side Jacks quest to find out about his past and it being serious is to me a neccesity which helps it soar(dreamworks is mainly known for comedy and this film along with httyd really tried to do the oppostie which is very respectable and that the film takes itself seriously makes it more enganing and well...special and epic!It sure is)...it is truly an underated masterpiece.If you disagree I would like to hear why so I could defend this film...I admire it and consider it their best film(inspite of my httyd bias)

​​​everyone has their opinion, bud. On my opinion, the whole Kung Fu Panda franchise is better than Madagascar franchise (except for Kung Fu Panda 4, that is one of the worst Dreamworks ever). Madagascar 1 is the best one, Madagascar 2 is the worst one, Madagascar 3 is middle of the road for me. HTTYD 3 is the worst one, 1 and 2 are similarly good for me. And Shrek 2 is great, but not better than Puss in Boots the Last Wish, it deserved to be the number one on my ranking. Your own opinion?

And also the enormous amount of continuity errors regarding the first movie. Moto Moto and Nana basically carry this movie for me. Shrek 2 is great, but not the best ever for me. I would’ve ranked KFP2, spirit stallion of the cimmaron and Monsters vs aliens all higher but that’s practically only just my personal preferences. I absolutely LOVE Lord Shen he is easily one of my all time fav animated villains, spirit stallion of the cimmaron is just such a beautiful film and I adore spirit not talking, I’m a big monster fan and I really like both the characters and references in MvA and the amount of effort put into it. So like I said mostly personal preferences.

I mean we could…. But it’s not a real Dreamworks movie since it was made by a lesser Dreamworks animation studio. However, I will say that the villains look like something out of Miraculous Ladybug, Megamind is a bigger jerk as a “good guy” than as a villain (not to mention sounding like a mix between Sonic and Mark Beaks), the movie having a preventable solution, and having a self insert kid character who makes stupid tree kid bearable in comparison (at least he was in it for two minutes and is a once and done character.. granted he’s basically Roger from sister sister).

I am of the opinion that Kung Fu Panda 4 was a great entry into the series With the pros being The story of Po coming to terms with not being the dragon warrior, Zhen being a decent character to push as the new dragon warrior, the side plot with Po’s dads actually being fun(I was expecting to find it annoying, but it was actually really fun) and while many complain about her, I think the Chameleon was a cool villain And finally, the way they included Po’s past foes was phenomenal

I think in my opinion the passing of the torch story could work.. if the story happened at least 20 years after the third movie and all the Furious five members passed on. That would explain why the Furious five is not in the fourth movie and gives an excusable justification for Awkwafina fox to be the Dragon warrior. Also the backstory of the Chameleon not being able to learn kung fu for being short is stupid, since Mantis, Viper, and Shifu exists.

​​@@UltimateDespairado I strongly and respectfully disagree with you. Zhen is a worthy successor of Po and even more worthy than the Furious Five. The reason being that the dragon warrior is about creating a legend out of nowhere. That was why Po got chosen. He was just a clumsy panda and had no kung fu talent at all. With Oogway, too it is hard to imagine a torotise to be the founder of Kung Fu. Then she was the only one who could have defeated Chameleon. While fighting Po, Chameleon unleashes her full potential and overcomes Po. Whereas while fighting Zhen she does not shapeshift at all. She underestimates her and I find it ironical because she thought she had been underestimated her entire life but when she is like a super powerful being she underestimates Zhen.

One of the most realistic backstories I have ever seen and it is pretty valid. 1) Another youtuber made this comment - "China is a huge country and variations are bound to exist. Just because Shifu was willing to train Mantis does not mean every master would be willing to and at first Shifu did turn away Mantis. Not everyone gets the same treatment and that is how life is isn't it ?" 2) Secrets of Scroll which is canon clearly explains how Mantis and Viper became masters. 2) Oogway had to train Shifu so he could in future train Po to become the Dragon Warrior. Oogway even allowed Shifu to raise Tai Lung in the wrong way so that Po could defeat him and become the dragon warrior. 3) In Secrets of Five, we do see Crane being mocked for his skinny legs and being denied the chance to take part in the academy test. He absent mindedly enters the arena and passes with flying colors and from them he is taken seriously. 4) Chameleon is also pretty elderly compared to the Five so it is likely that when she was rejected in her youth, the Five were just younglings. 5) Even Zhen comments that Po is not like any of the other masters so the Juniper City masters probably had racial mindsets. So yeah existence of small masters does not negate possibilities of other small animals being rejected. It's like saying if racism is not present in most countries then that means racism is not prevalent at all.
