We know they're going to do a lot of work to universal studios once epic universe opens, the real question is what gets the attention first? Seeing as to how Simpson has to be out by 2028 or 29 (can't quite remember which specifically) , KidZone desperately needs an upgrade, and fear Factor is still an empty building.

Honestly I feel like it should be saved for the theoretical 4th park to the east of Epic Universe for the same reason Mario was saved for EU, to give it more land for expansion, but that would be so far away and I don't think they would be willing to wait that long, especially when it's not even a sure thing right now and just a theory that there will be another park.

If NBCUniversal manages to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery like what the rumors state and goes for Paramount Global, Amazon's media assets and Netflix, I would not mind a revamped Kids Zone with family-friendly Warner Bros., Paramount, MGM, Universal and Netflix IPs alongside Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network IPs and DC Comics being in Marvel Superhero Island's place. That, and a combined streamer.

I think the relocation of the Shrek meet and greet is a huge upgrade from it's previous location. More kid friendly family rides would be a plus and while they are at it throw the Secret Life of Pets dark ride in it too.

Secret Life of Pets isn't Dreamworks, it's Illumination (minions family). But I like the idea of using that track system and style of ride as the dark ride for Trolls. Easy retheme and would work so well in the back of that land as well!

about the kung fu panda ride at universal studios beijing (a boat ride with more standby queue space than frozen ever after at epcot), i have seen a POV of the ride and knew the ride has a drop by seeing water in the boat. i like how just before the boat is dispatched from the loading dock, a gong is heard

I totally agree they're waiting on Epic Universe because that's like the first domino. And not just in the most obvious way - "If we sell a lot of Power Up Bands, then we need to build Pokémon and Zelda NOW!" I'm sure they've prepared all kinds of follow-up plans if EU doesn't perform to expectations: Will they need an extra attraction or two, or will they need a brand-new land? There are several options for land expansions here - the most obvious being Pokémon, Tolkien and DreamWorks, and all three are in this weird circle where what is done with one will affect the other two. The main rumors for Pokémon are KidZone or EU. The main rumors for a Tolkien land are Toon Lagoon or EU. And DreamWorks has rumors for all three. The ability to plop a DreamWorks land in any of the parks means it must wait for the other two ideas to get decided. Otherwise, why wouldn't they just retheme KidZone right now? Slapping DreamWorks themes on the current offerings would be an easy and cheap fix to an outdated land. Also, there is the chance some of this will be transferred to the ever-expanding Minions Land. USF will need a play area while KidZone gets rehauled and a Super Silly Fun Land is the obvious answer. So I wouldn't expect anything beyond quick fixes until at least 2025.

For a Pokémon land they can do a Pikachu launch coaster called Pikachu thunderbolt express, at the back of Kidzone they can do a Pokémon snap attraction with animaTronic Pokémon you can take pictures of, then you can have meet and greets with ash and pikachu etc and you could do a ride where you can catch Pokémon and then use them to battle in the stadium in the Pokémon stadium attraction etc. they can also host events for Pokémon go, another idea I have is a SpongeBob land since SpongeBob is still relevant, they can have a real Krusty Krab Quick service restaurant, they could do a dark ride where you’re riding in SpongeBob‘s bookmobile trying to help Patrick catch jellyfish etc with animatronics of SpongeBob and Patrick and Squidward etc for meeting greets you can do SpongeBob‘s house and squid words house in Patrick’s house and Sandy’s tree dome.

For kids zone why just dreamworks? They have many kids ips. Replace dreamworks with sing stage show from japan or trolls stage show. Retheme american tail with spongebob, (you have the shop) Replace woody pizza with krusty krab, replace George with scooby-doo ride or slop clone from hollywood, retheme woody coaster with hello kitty. There you go.

It seems like an obvious solution for that area, tbh. The only problem I see (personally speaking) is it becomes a bit odd when specific properties are outcasted to different parks but the majority of other IPs within that family are left in the park. That being said, I do like the idea of a Dreamworks specific kid-land. The penguins of Madagascar would be a lovely retheme to the kiddie coaster (failing to fly the plane and all). And there's plenty of other potential for the other franchises. The big thing for me though is seeing it fit as a land with room to grow (as more movies are made), while also being a home to the whole family and not making it like every family on the planet where the oddball is outcast (don't tell me that isn't true, because it is). It'll be a balancing act, but I think Universal could do something really cool.... maybe they should just hire me to help design this (I do have a couple ideas for this)? Hmmmm, that's a brilliant idea, let's green light that ;)

Dreamworks don't have full control over Wallace and Gromit. They just own the Distrubution rights to the Three Films that they made with Aardman, so they can't really use them. But if you want to see a Wallace and Gromit ride, then look up Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England. Where you can find Wallce and Gromit's Thrill o Matic!

Perhaps it may seem blasphemous to suggest to the many who might love it, but I keep on thinking how it would work so well for Seuss Landing to be replaced by Pokemon. Like if Cat In The Hat were replaced by a Pokemon Snap attraction, If I Ran the Zoo could be a Pokemon Go integrated Safari Zone, One Fish Two Fish could be replaced by a Surf Ride with Water Pokemon like Lapras, and High in the Sky could be a Fly ride with ride cars made to look like flying Pokemon. etc etc Then if you ever want to do Grinchmas, you don't need a whole land dedicated to it, you can just use a Horror Nights dedicated space in the Kids/Dreamworks Zone and decorate it a bit. I feel like that could be the answer for Pokemon that Universal was looking for, unless Epic Universe will build a land from scratch there instead, but man just imagining the business boom around that area if it were to happen would be astronomical. Edit: And if you want to get REALLY crazy, you can convert the Lost Continent into a Legendary Pokemon themed area. Poseidon's Fury could be converted into an Elite 4 walkthrough show, gift shops would have a bunch of Legendary Pokemon rarities and artifacts, and it would be Pokemon League themed. Can have Pokemon trading card game tournaments and an arcade full of Pokemon games with multiplayer. Kids would never want to leave and it would make Hogsmeade way less congested.
