17:42 here to provide context: "npcs are becoming smart" is a roblox game where a npc named carl trys to pick up a gun and you have to collect all the endings (for example: if you help him get the gun you get the friendly ending, if you noclip into the floor with the gun you get the backrooms ending) there are also other stuff in the game that can get you endings, like the "Tangomangle Release Button" which releases a hoard of monsters called Tangomangles, and the beehive which you can walk into, lead Carl to, lead a different NPC called Groovy to (who's also the creator of the game btw), and spray it with bug spray to confront the bee king, all giving you different endings.
