Great video! We also love Giardini Naxos. We ‘ve stayed just outside the downtown in the former Hilton Property. As much as we love Macari, always so jealous to see the food over on the east coast of Sicily.

I live in Miami, so it is understandable… When do u start in September? Please give me an idea of the weather Do u also have a tour near Christmas time? I am interested in a tour that includes going to the Opera and evening culture events… Ps… I went to Israel on a tour and one of the most wonderful parts was visit homes and being hosted by the family… We learned the history, culture and life of different religions, conservative to liberal outlooks and shared dinner together… If this was done all over the world the light would end anger and fear…💫

Hi Alfred and Eszter. I have been in Palermo for over a month. I am enjoying being here so much. I visited Monreale, Castelbuono for the Funghi festival, Motta di Affermo, Santo di Stefano, Bagheri, Astra, Erice,Trapani, Altavilla Milicia and Marsala.I might be missing some places to mention. I am busy in school during the week, so its weekends that I get to visit other places. I walk in Palermo 13,000 to 18,000 steps a day. I am always trying to walk a different way, to see different streets, and views, but I end up some how in the same places! I hope to go south to visit Comiso and Vittoria where my family are from over 100 years ago. I need to do research of things to see, do and places to stay around there. I was only in Comiso for a couple of hours last year, I visited the community to get information about my grandfather. Unfortunately, the lady there was not very forthcoming. I actually started crying. I was so upset when she told me that they didn’t have any of the information from that long ago. Somehow my tears brought a gigantic book from behind a wall and all she did was flip a couple of pages and found my grandfather’s name. She did not make me feel comfortable at all. Like I was bothering her. So I left with just a little information. I’d like to go back and see if I can get more information, the birth certificates, and the marriage of my grandparents. I would love if I could find where my grandparents grew up. If their homes still exist. The only address she was able to give me when I was there last year, was the address just before they moved to the United States. I will be on an adventure! Hugs, Susan from Pompano Beach, Florida

We arrived here from a cold europe and cold scandinavia and the weather here is still so warm. I didnt bring enough summer clothes on this trip, i though it would be colder in sicily than it is
