@@Col.B1 no secret we are all reliving our youth with Felix the Hilux. So stoked with how he performed.

Yes so much fun the old Lux... Re the can, yes all our vehicles over the years dropped condensation before oil, it takes quite a few thousand kms for the filter to oil up before it produces it out of the drain plug..

Lower your tyre pressures to 10-12 and you will make to the top and chop up the track
@darrendeal31035 ай бұрын
Totally agreed bud 10-12psi is definitely the sweet spot 👍🏻

Cheers boys, might be the case for a 1 off hillclimb but in the past any lower that 16 on a 3tonne plus vehicle your asking for trouble, especially in this example of 800kms across the desert , with deadlocks and a lighter vehicle you both on the money... We could have however gone down further for this 1 climb and aired back up, so yes your both correct there...

Have these tires on my Nissan Frontier/Navarra here in the states. After 23k miles tires require air at least once a week 2-3 psi. Soft compound great for absorbing rough roads and offroad obstacles. However soft compound wears unevenly especially living in a major city where you might have to slam on the brakes causing abnormal tire wear.

yes it's a harsh world out there. Nice work mate. Did you end up greasing that bush
@TeamBulletOffroad5 ай бұрын
Nope, didn't quieten down even after greasing... The mud at the pans half way through basically ground down whatever was making the noise, was like magic... And they say mud is no good!!!!

Was terrible, I tried so many times to fix it, was only the mass of mud we had to travel through that eventually shut it up...
