You're making your neighborhood far more liveable. You'll be able to enjoy outdoor activities without being swarmed by mosquitoes. Some of the commenter's seem to think you're building a swimming hole, the standing timber does needs to be addressed but only because it might end up clogging the overflow. I would probably just wait until I could float a john-boat saw them down and throw 'em out. The water level is going to be several feet higher after that, so the only thing left will be good fish structure. Chris and his buddies from Dirt Perfect are as good as they come at building ponds, but you already knew that. Lets hope the dam core clay and money holds out. Looks like the break found the transition point but you certainly have the man that can remedy that on the job. After the deluge from Hurricane Heleen all anyone can do is speculate and hope for the best. For all anyone knows Chris may be called away for a couple of months to aid in recovery because public resources are definitely going to fall far short of the needs. The current leadership has some loose screws when it comes to America first, so much so as they have the states that would be sending equipment and manpower struggling to meet their own demands. I will write everyone I can think of to put a bug in their ear to lend what assistance they can. Normally the diesel tankers would have been ready to roll as soon as the path was determined but we can only pray the good practices from the past will be on display, and people don't start knee jerking their way into making matters worse.

I sure like the expanded videos of Chris's work. Hopefully you will get some channel growth from his followers. I was watching folks breaking beaver dams, and stumbled on Chis getting that rented excavator out the mud with his uncle. I was hooked on his skill and explaining what and why...

hi....thanks for the vids...??? the pond you drained out, are to going into that to dregg it out and remove all those dead trees sticking up....

@@ronaldfierro9986 going to smash them more with the Argo and cut others. I’d like to dredge but dredging the entire 10 acre lake cost more than most people’s homes.

I’m sure your doing alot of behind the scenes work to make sure everything is going smoothly

Yes sir, took delivery of the concrete structures today. Made a video, it's boring but part of the process so I'll share it soon. -Brian

How long do you think it will take to fill the whole "lake" once you take out the existing dam and join the two into one?
@BrushCommandoАй бұрын
A couple months, if we don't get any rain, it's all spring fed. Which is fine because I need time to set up the inlet for a hydro-electric turbine. -Brian

Couldn’t even tell it was a pond before. How deep is it?

12 ft. Should've seen it all before I cleared everything and built the little pond. -Brian

@@phillipward8776 Wrong, removing that swamp soil will make it an open water area. Odds are they will mow near it and and it will breed more mosquitos than usual.
