@@karencski711 have you had an extensive workup by a truly good physician, one you've explained this to? I highly recommend Osteopathic doctors, personally (look for the D.O. initials after their name). I can think of many things that may be the cause, but w/o knowing your age/medical issues/lifestyle habits/etc., all *I* can think of is maybe the exercise itself: i.e., too much too soon, environment, oh & WHAT & HOW you exercise. May be simply the wrong approach/type of exercise/doing too much/something not right for YOUR body/YOUR unique makeup..it actually could be psychological even (yes- SO possible) I know I would investigate, bcuz you may have an underlying medical issue... or going about things incorrectly. This is true. I've been exercising 4 to 5 times a week for an hour for the last 12 years when I turned 50 because I started to notice weight gain. Didnt change my diet which wasn't horrible but included potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Every year gained approximately 3 lbs. Fast-forward to Jan 1st, 2024. I gained 30 lbs over 12 years. I was never overweight my entire life and very active generally but now 2 lbs above my healthy weight category. Exercise probably helped me not gain 60 lbs but it never helped me lose weight. Jan 1st started Keto, intermittent fasting, cut out alcohol, took ACV/lemon juice, a few extended fasts (72, 36, 48hr) and today I'm down 25 lbs wth 5 more to reach my 48 yr old weight goal. All body inflammation gone, mental clarity unbelievable and energy excess! I wouldnt have believed it was possible. Thanks Doc!!!

I am trying to lower my insulin resistance. Has it been easy? No. I love bread and chocolate. I have multiple sweet tooth’s! But it has not been too hard either. I developed my own formula for smoothies and sweetener blend. So that has been fun. It is a journey! BTW, I am now 5’8” and weigh about 167 lbs. I am absolutely obsessed with it now. My body has changed a lot already and emotionally I feel better than I ever have before in my life. I had no idea what I was missing before, and I couldn’t afford to do this before but now I can so this has just been so amazing for me. My husband is also doing personal training. We love it. totally agree. my mental health goes down by 10 to 20 pc if i dont go to a gym for 2 weeks…I only do 20 to 30 mins in each session but it changes my mood substantially.

Summer challenge… it’s almost turning winter by us in about a month. But something is strange about the season changing. It’s already halfway into autumn but the leaves aren’t changing colour and it’s still extremely hot. It’s global warming I’m sure. But when it’s summer again my challenge will be to look nice in my bikini I bought a few months ago. I bought it at Sissy boy, I love their things. It’s black and studded everywhere with black rhinestones. Absolutely beautiful.

I have extreme back pain from spinal stenosis, bulging disc and arthritis all throughout my spine. I stopped pretty much all forms of activity p because of it. My sleep was horrible. Fast forward I started going to the gym and just walking pretty slowly has helped my sleep immensely.

Well said Dr. Exercising plays a role in losing weight, but the biggest player in weight loss, from my personal experience, is DIET! Eating wholefoods and restrictive eating habits. I lost 18 lbs just by cutting out rice, flour and sugar and I was not a big sugar eater!

I exercise every day to relieve neurological pain in my legs, it's a great motivator. Ten minutes a day for a month was all it took to start seeing results. When that month is over, keep going. Then up your time. It's a ongoing commitment that always pays off.

Amazing video. It really shows we have not evolved much from our hunter gatherer ancestors. We consciously know we're lifting, walking, etc as exercise and eating less to lose weight, or in a surplus to gain weight, but our body doesn't differentiate it from traversing difficult terrain and hunting for our most important resource. Food.

Movement is something primal, guys also loose track of items because they don’t move. Has to move like that animal that we running from or running towards. Women easily spot an item as had to do with forging for fruits and vegetables.
