Have you compared how it performs against the normal ezlock carbide cutting wheel for wood? Both in terms of which is easier to get through wood and safety aspects such as the kickback? And maybe even which one is easier to keep and make straight or possibly curved cuts?

Hi. I prefer the carbide wheel for cutting wood. Less kickback, and you can achieve about the same quality cuts with it as the mini saw attachment. The carbide wheel is also more versatile when it comes to doing different cuts like curves and shaping.

At 02:02, what saw is that without cover? This isn't 670?
@rotarycrafts876010 ай бұрын
It is a cheap serrated saw blade from another brand. Used it to demonstrate kickback. I don't recommend getting that one.

@@rotarycrafts8760 OK, thanks! I found Dremel's original saw blade SC544 with spindel SC402, will try them out when I can. The 670 is a nice one, easy to use, but the cut is somewhat small (because of the protective cover). Otherwise, I don't regret buying it (although, the 670 costs about 90% of the whole Dremel kit...).
