#4 This is the last step by step wood carving video in this series, I carve the beard hairs , sand them (with a wicked sanding tool i make in the video that fits in dremel flex shaft or any 1/8" rotory tool) and staining.

Well, I just “discovered” you. You my friend are true gem on you tube. I watched all the videos on this and it was really great to see it progress. I really liked it and I thought it turned out great. I do small figure carvings. I name each one and then write a little story about them. All my characters interact with one another and live in an ideal little world. Thanks for tour time and talents. I will be trying a wood spirit soon

Thanks for the video. Once I cut out a three foot tall black on my band saw. I didn't know what I was doing but I experiment and cut in the fur. Came out nice. I used waterbase watered down black paint. I used a sponge brush like you do and applied it like a stain, it was super thin more like a wash. I make bird houses for sale, I'm going to try the spirit face one like you did, probably can double my price for them. Shut in because of the virus just watching your videos, thanks.
