I just made my first wood spirit, following you tutorial. I'm a sixty-five year old woman . I have alittle experience using a dremel to etch glass. Your direction made carving my wood spirit easy. I just wanted you to know I watched your beginner wood spirit video. First of all you you make it fun and you keep saying have FUN! I went out and started carving and I said I can do that. It was fun! At 6 carvings people are saying Wow that is sooo good. I’m very proud of the one of my last one I tried different things and it looks so good if I don’t say so my self. Quick question…I have carved lettering into a large maple wedge (about 3’ x 2’). I tried using a sealer (oil based) spray on, on the face where the lettering is but didn’t like how much it darkened the lettering. I dremeled out the lettering again but was hoping to get feedback as to what I can use to protect from rain…. Thank you
