Usual Drennan quality depicting specimen angling of various species. While there are still some excellent carp videos around, they have been done to death so this series focusing on other specimens is refreshing to watch. Well done Drennan 👏👏

The best Bream that I ever fished for was in Northern Ireland on Lough Erne in county Fermanagh. That was in the 1980s, it was a fantastic place for Bream. There were Beautiful Waters hidden away in remote places that were a joy to fish.

Fantastic video, I have not done big bream fishing for some time, but next year, thats going to change, but dont you think its not just catching big or large bream, but the preperation, the work, but there is a magic about the thump, the solid weight on the rod, nice one, merry chistmas, and new year.

I wanna see a proper Perching session video from Drennan... Perch on Lives, Worms, Prawns etc... using bobbers and quivertips etc... Its one of the most beloved Specimen species and no one really makes videos on them unless is boring Lure fishing ones!!! its good to have a decent bait video for a change from a fishing company that sells specimen fishing tackle... PS really enjoyed this bream video!

Agree big perch on lives and lobs would be awesome. We might have to wait as they seem to be in decline at the moment (round my way, anyway) I've had a really good bash with the lures over the few years, and I can honestly say you can't beat the lobs👍

Walthamstow reservoirs has massive bream! Lake 2-3 it's quiet easy to catch a double 13lb + if targeted. Sorry mate wrote this half way through the vid and here you are on the stow!

Great video,, I have a res in lancs were its very low stock its un fished basically, no carp either ,, it did a 15 and a few other 11 to 13ns , , ,, would pre baiting be the method over a period of time , apparently its ridiculously hard so advice would be interesting.

I'd say yes, find your spot, and pre bait it with groundbait and bulked up with brown crumb, either use liquid brazem or molasses, caster and chopped worm , small 1mm and 3mm pellets, a sprinkle of corn etc. Then come the day you fish it then you have loads of variation of hook baits to use.

I'd love a big Bream but there's no waters local to me to have a proper campaign without putting some serious miles and effort in. Hats off to Daniel and Drennan again.

Breams can be beasts in some places and like you said plastic bags in others. I know of a river in Northern Sweden where the Bream is higher then they are long and super fat. Puts up a good fight and are not slimy. This is because they grow up in the Northern Baltic sea. There is only one problem, there is just to many of them in the 5 to 7 lbs range that you get tired arms after two hours fishing. It becomes boring. Difficult to say how big they get, but they would weigh 50% more with the same length as those in your video. I met two french guys in a refrigerated truck who had a one way trip of 2000km. They filled the truck once a year and sold the catch in France. They fished with rod and reel. Nobody in the area fish for anything else then Trout and Salmon so common fish is left alone. Except for those French guys. There is 3lbs Roaches, 8lbs Id and huge Pikes. It's the effect of the midnight sun.

Great analysis of 'big' bream (10+lb), they're completely different to the 'mass shoal' (4-8lb) type of bream .

Great video videography as usual from Drennan as usual but this one was just so uninformative. Not much on rigs, not one weight on a fish and little to no info on the amount of bait used
