Wonderful choices, Kay. You look beautiful in everything. Talbots can be pricey for some budgets, but the quality of their clothing is excellent. Worth the splurge or to take the time to save for a special item, especially when it’s on sale. Their pieces wear well and stand the test of time. I like that they are size inclusive so I can enjoy shopping with my petite bestie and still find pretty things for my plus size self!

I shop almost exclusively at Talbots. I have recently purchased the ruffled collar sweater, fair isle cardigan in bright colors and the striped sweater. I already have a closetful of their corduroy pants. I loved seeing what you purchased. Thank you for sharing

I am definitely a Talbots shopper. I am petite and their petites fit so well. I have bought alot recently as I lost weight, and have to redo my whole wardrobe a little at a time, I have 2 of the straight relaxed jeans, 1 trouser jean, 2 cords, and a couple of sweaters. When I want something classic and long lasting, I go to Talbots and I have not paid full price! They have a sale often. Best place for a petite!!!

I’m a constant shopper at Talbots! I love their boots and have many. Funny I don’t love the fit of their jeans! If they fit me like they do you, I would definitely buyI I shopped this year mostly from the October collection. I love the return of the Lady/ Chanel jacket and purchased the ivory with two rows of gold buttons. Stunning!The pieces you chose show how Talbots provides a range of styles. As beautifully as you styled them, I wouldn’t select those for myself. I used my 40% on the Highland green sweater dress. Wear with boots of course!

I 💘 Talbots. My recent purchases have included some lighter weight tops in beautiful colors like purple majesty, wave blue and radiant sapphire. Jewel tones are back! Love the items you chose, especially the sweater with colored flecks.

Love Talbots corduroy pants! Used to buy them often when there was a Talbots Clearance Outlet nearby. That store closed a few years ago but the pants are so well made they all still fit! Thanks for reminding me to get them out; wearing the navy ones now!

Why I love Talbot’s-- I can always find petite length skirts, dresses, jeans and other pants. No more hemming sleeves and pant legs! Their featured colors each season are so fun and I can always find things that go together. (I sure have bought things from other stores that I can’t coordinate with anything in my closet or elsewhere☹️) And I can find everything from casual T by Talbot’s leggings and sweats to elegant party clothes in one store. Finally, their rewards program and sales make things much more affordable and their quality is generally a cut or two above a lot of other places that I shop.

I have been a Talbots shopper for years. The last few seasons especially they have done a beautiful job with colors and styles. As a petite they are my go to store. So sad the sweater you are wearing is out of stock. It’s one of my colors and hard to find. 😢 I also like that things I purchased last year have new styles to coordinate for this year. I’ve never had a quality issue with Talbots and the sales associates are always helpful. Thanks for sharing!❤

I did purchase the burgundy and moss cords and slim straight jeans. I found a striped sweater at Talbots that goes with the moss and denim jeans. I also have several cashmere sweaters from Quince that beautifully mix and match the cords and my Talbot denims.

I do shop at Talbots, but they use a lot of synthetic fibers, which I can’t wear. Their Haven line started out using only natural fibers, so I bought a lot, but they’ve recently cheapened the fabrics there, too.

I agree. They keep pushing cashmere but I detest having to keep up with the pilling. I wish they would do more merino wool, which doesn’t pill and is quality. I bought a blended cotton/polyester sweater last fall and by spring it looked 10 years old. And the jeans with polyester are so hot I can’t stand it. I hope Talbots is monitoring our remarks as that’s the real reason for my post.

I think many of my favorite retailers are using polyester and acrylic to keep their prices down unfortunately. I have pieces from Talbots that are literally 18 years old due to the classic quality that use to be there😢

What haven't I purchased my Talbots this season? I too have been shopping Talbots for over 30 years. I am petite and they offer so many of their styles that fit me so well. I purchased my fourth Audrey cashmere sweater yesterday in the dark walnut. Even though I am petite, I get this style in the XS misses size. I bought the pomegranate sweater you are wearing three weeks ago. I got to wear it on my trip to England. I absolutely love it. You look marvelous in it.

I'm over Talbots except pants. They're throwing weird plastic metallic buttons on all the tops and blending 10 colors in 1 piece makes it trendy rather than classic in my opinion. Sad because Talbots had been my go to since the 80's when it truly was classic.

Agree. Have shopped Talbot's for over 30 years but their quality and consistency seems to have suffered the last few years. Sadly I've started shopping elsewhere.

I just bought the black cordoroys one size up. I found a cute half zip print pullover. Unique print that could be casual or a 😢 13:17 bit more elevated. . Since I'm only about 5" 2" they are both being tailored now. I don't find everything I need at Talbots but the quality is always good. Yesterday I had to stop by the dentist office , then over to a friend's house for a late lunch and fun visit. I wore a Talbots sage and cream plaid blouse from 2 years ago and it looks great with off white jeans. One mistake I have made is buying cardigans in regular and not petite. I have 2 that are very nice but should be shorter. Unlike pants, cardigan sweaters cannot be shortened. I love love the quiet luxury style but find that having a couple of fun print Talbot blouses are nice to ha e for certain occasions. Wore a bright orange cotton blouse with gold metallic threads to a country western themed concert in the summer. Quiet luxury looks good for many outings but I feel too " serious" going to for example a children's event in my nice classic clothes.

I’m generally not a Talbots shopper. They are typically not my style and the clothes are rarely suited to my body type. This fall I have seen a couple of things I may purchase. As always great outfits.

Me, too, but I’ve found Kay’s great styling ideas and tips very easy to recreate at lower price points, such as WalMart, Kohl’s, JCPenney’s, Quince, etc.

I have found that my Talbots and Chicos clothes last a long time. I don't buy polyester. I mix with QVC brands that I like.

I have so many Talbot's clothes in my closet but I've never walked into their shop or bought full price. I find everything virtually new at Goodwill or eBay

Always like the look of a lot of Talbots clothes, but the fabrics are always so stiff - even their t-shirts are thicker and less soft than I like. They are very classic, but the colors are often not what I like to wear - not as muted or subtle. Sorry to say, but to me, Talbots often look old fashioned (not classic) and appeal to a certain demographic (bit too New England for me!). The pomegranate red is a pretty shade. The best look here is the denim jacket/corduroy pants/suede boots. The skirt is quite nice, but really dislike the bare look leg with boots.
