Dresses, swimwear & denim jacket. Petite, size 12, age 59!

I love Marks and Spencer clothes, they usually fit so well. This time, I'm not so sure that I've picked the right things. What do you think?

I think the denim jacket would be good in the autumn over trousers or skirts, thicker ones as it gets colder! Same with tops.

Hi Rhian. You look great in the brown dress- if you shorten the straps, shorten them from the back - it looks neater , I am short so I regularly have to shorten straps on things. I really like the denim jacket- it suits you and I would buy it - but then again I buy everything- and I would probably buy the blue dress to, then never wear it 😂😂😂.

Rhi i think the pick of the bunch was the brown and white dress. Just pull it down so the straps fit better. Didn’t really like the denim jacket- too boxy

Hi Rhian, I am petite too and M & S have not quite mastered the idea of Petite. Sometimes it works but….The blue dress is a great colour but not a keeper. I like the jacket, it’s not traditional where it’s short and very restricting. I love this style. Thanks for sharing xx

Just pull the dress down so it tightens the straps and also then the bodice part will sit lower like you wanted

I really liked the brown and cream dress, a couple of stitches in the straps would easily fix them…..the blue dress is a fabulous colour on you but not the best style perhaps. Although I really liked the denim jacket I think it’s more an autumn style and maybe a shorter cut would suit better…….great haul nevertheless 🥰

Great little haul and liked all your choices. The denim jacket was lovely but is the wrong length it would have been much better as a cropped jacket which would make it more usefull. Loved the blue dress what a fab colour rather body hugging so wouldn't disguise any lumps or bumps which most of us at a certain age have. Sundress 👍 very nice. Swimwear - bikini looked good and rather liked the red one - would you try another size up?. Really am enjoying your videos Rhi❤

Hi Rhian Nice wee haul from M&S. I love the denim jacket. I bought the diamond quilted one and I sized up just in case I needed it to put a jumper underneath it. The blue dress was a bit snug but the colour is beautiful. I don’t like the swimsuit I much prefer the one you got. The brown sundress is nice . Shame about the straps. See you in the next one. Liked the brown dress but the blue is definitely your colour. Would have been great if short. With M and S if you want petite you have to look for the extra short but unfortunately they don't have many in that size..❤

Blue dress a little unforgiving but you could belt it and blouse over the top . Otherwise can highly recommend the thicker ones from Primark which are a thicker fabric so less revealing. And so much cheaper 😄

@@RhianWarlow have the Primark dress in navy grey and black ! And I am much the shape as you . I use it as a base also with jumpers , blouses tied at the waist as it’s ribbed and then looks like a skirt .

The sundress looked lovely, as someone else commented could you pull it down a touch so the straps fit better or as you say shorten them, but I would say keep it. The denim jacket was too boxy imo, you need one that is a bit more shaped. The blue dress looked really nice, but if you feel a bit self conscious then it is probably a no. ❤

Hi. I like everything you bought. It’s a shame the swimsuit did not fit you as that would have been superb. The bikini looks good and it goes to show if you get a good one you can wear it no matter what age you are. Have you tried bikinis that are bra sized to see if that would work? The denim jacket is not the right shape for you it’s too masculine looking and you need a petite style. You suit the shorter striped dress rather than either of those 2 from M&S. thanks for sharing.
