I prefer my footballs at 13.5 ounces, a little over inflated but not enough to break fingers. They won’t tell you that the Texans paid a fine to keep their deflated footballs on the quiet side. Aaron Rodgers admitted to over inflating his footballs. Joe Montana claimed that it is part of the game to keep the equipment the way you like it.

But No one other than Brady that I have ever heard of then smashes their old one with a hammer. And yes, Brady admitted to doing that, too. Right when he was asked to produce his old phone. As a scuba instructor, I know a bit about gas physics. Funny how the ideal gas law only effected the Pats footballs that day. I don't know how much effect that it had, (not much that day, since they continued to spank them after the balls were re-inflated to the proper pressure, although the Pats fumble stats are worth raising an eyebrow), but I have no doubt that the balls were deflated, on purpose, at Brady's behest.

Trident Diving When you take a ball like a football from cold to warm environments like they did it will take a bit of time for it to affect it. They checked all of the balls of the Colts first, and then did the Patriots instead of doing them at the same time. You can check the science of it and run the calculations of it as well and you’ll see that the balls psi matches the math and the actual measurements.

This is something I like about Drew Brees. Even though most people who are huge fans of different NFL teams, which includes, the Chiefs, Patriots, Broncos, Saints, Steelers, or the Packers, this is the one good Christian quarterback that doesn't talk smack about anybody and always plays his hardest out there and cheers for his teammates when they do really great. This deflategate could just be speculation, but being that the Patriots had cheated before and got caught and Kraft extended Belicheat's contract after being caught cheating, it would not be surprising at all if they did cheat. Brees can play a perfect game at QB and he proved he could destroy the Patriots despite the scripted elements. The league is NEVER going to allow a Saints/Patriots Super Bowl, therefore. This is why we were treated to the most bizarre non-call in NFL history at the end of the Saints/Rams playoff game last year. Patriots are like the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy. It's fake. People ought to grow up and realize this. 100-1 when leading at halftime? Do you understand how completely impossible that is without it being scripted? The league average for this stat is about 75% - meaning that teams lose one in every four games where leading at halftime. Do you REALLY think one team is capable of defying this to the extent of losing only one in every ONE HUNDRED games???

He might have confused ounces for PSI, but a properly-inflated ball (12.5-13.5 PSI) only weighs 14-15 oz. Even though he said ounce by accident, clearly he could calculate (or at least infer) the gauge pressure of the footballs accurately.
