@@realamericannegro977 Yeah, I'm an OG DMC fan since DMC1 so I'll admit I'm biased because of it. However more than that, I'm just not a huge fan of how Capcom portrays Dante these days, he's too much of a clown now - but that's what the fanbase seem to love about him nowadays, and I guess you could say that Reuben fits that Dante better... but it's not my Dante. Drew got to portray a more serious Dante and that's what I prefer.

@@realamericannegro977 Yeah, DMC1 Dante was more of a mature rockstar type of badass, he would crack wise here and there but he'd get serious when he had to. He was also driven and motivated for revenge. Capcom's Reuben era Dante is too tryhard and OTT whilst motivated by... nothing, you get the impression he just does whatever he feels like. Drew's Dante was effortlessly cool his voice was much more natural. Anyways I could say more. But I'm glad there are people who still appreciate the original.

Itsuno even said he didn't like Dante and didn't know what to do with him so the way you described the current verison actually lines up with how Itsuno sees Dante but he hates him and it always showed.

I like both Drew and Reuben as Dante. One isnt better or worse than the other, theyre just different. On another note DMC1s voice acting wasnt bad, Drew did an admirable job with the material and direction he was given.

Drew Coombs should voice Sparda. In Devil May cry 6, Dante and Vergil faced Mundus again, who becamed into Demon God. Nero´s tries to help his father and uncle but even he can´t beat him. And suddenly Sparda returns, with Drew Coombs as his voice actor, and saying the line "What a Big Surprise !"

Seems like Capcom is recasting Reuben now, although it’s possible it’s just Street Fighter. If we get more Dante, and they’re really just kicking out Reuben…have Drew take up the role again. The Like a Dragon series did it with the English voices of Kiryu and Date in the 7th game, and that ruled.

Sure that's fine and all, but I did offer Mr. Langdon the role of Jon Talbain in future Darkstalkers media to make up for the loss of Ken. It would be cool to have both Reuben voice Dante, and Drew with Sparda, sorta like Keifer Sutherland with Big Boss and David Hayter with Solid Snake, despite Reub being interested more in UFOlogy, but admiring his ties to Capcom and the characters he provided, him and Drew are like night and day. Aside from what I've mentioned earlier with Talbain's casting when Capcom brings Darkstalkers back from the grave, Reub will be casted as Infernus in my made-for-streaming series Assassin Virtue 360 Degrees. A demon-vampire hybrid born from Nosferatu himself Count Orlok and the Mistress of Snakes Valak, alongside his sister Carmilla(voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker), and other siblings. He loves acting like a jerk towards humans either by mocking or scaring them, much to his adopted human son, and UASS Shinigami(Death-God) Majin's(voiced by Benjamin Diskin) amusement. However, Infernus suffers from anxiety caused by his semi-demonic instincts, to the point where he transformed into a huge bat monster and attacked his friend Pollux after devouring the face off of an assassin named Sir Robin Hood. In season 2, Infernus no longer kept his leather catsuit(w/ demonic wings in the back), a tiara with St. Peter's Cross imprinted, long horns, and spiky red hair, rather maintaining his human appearance Ichigo Tsubaki, and acted more like an anti-hero whilst supporting Majin when he shared a new pact with former princess of the Netherworld Proserpina(voiced by Skylar Davenport). His arc being inspired from Axel in Kingdom Hearts and Minamimoto in NEO: The World Ends With You. Both of those roles would be cool, so respect Reuben for who he is, but adore his work on Capcom's many projects over the years like his friends Dan, Johnny, TJ, Adam, et cetera.
