Crazy how much faith the Broncos fans already have in this man

Yeah, he could be a flop. For years Broncos fans have had just-ok QBs. Griese, Plummer, Cutler, Orton, Tebow, Siemian, Keenum, Flacco. With the exception of Peyton Manning we haven't had a quarterback that has really stood out in years. But Lock appears to have it all so far. Size, pocket awareness, arm strength, timing, accuracy, ability to scramble, natural athletic ability, cool under pressure, leadership ability and youth. If any QB we've drafted in the last 20 years has me excited it's this guy.

Kid makes throws other guys can only DREAM OF MAKING, and has the right personality and work ethic to be elite quarterback in the league. Can't wait to watch him grow these next 5 games going into next season as the starter will pay huge dividends. This is very valuable experience hes about to get playing these 5 game's

Ya these 5 games are gonna be huge for him. I wish we could've gave him more games though. I don't know if 5 games are enough to evaluate him, but I'm happy he's getting these games to showcase his skills.

@@MileHighHighlights it's about more than just an evaluation. The broncos were never going to draft a quarter back in the first round next year with glaring holes on the OLine and corner back. Drew Lock is this teams franchise QB and they'll give him the time needed to develop

A lot of those throws were into closing windows with 2-3 defenders closing in. And those are preseason teams. I want to see Drew play but if he throws that recklessly into coverage the resultant turnovers are going to ruin his confidence

Sick of people saying he shouldn't be "thrown to the wolves" behind our trash o-line. We need to see if he can improvise with what he has! With the way elway drafts, we might have a bad line for years to come, but plenty teams prosper regardless of that, if they have a good enough QB. Plus, we've got nothing to lose by playing the kid!

@@lukehutchings9752 Agreed. I think Elway is figuring out the draft better. We're gonna potentially have like 10-11 picks in this upcoming draft. It'd be GREAT to go into this draft hot having to or needing to draft a QB and instead use all those picks to build a team around Lock and help solidify and fill needed holes in the defense.
