Melvin Gordon will have a career year, just my prediction. He will get around 1200 yards rushing with 400 yards receiving and 15 total touchdowns....believe it! Maybe that’s stretching it a bit but I think with all the upgrades on offense that they won’t be able to load the box and respect our passing game. Broncos finish 11-5 and give the Chiefs a run for their money, who’s with me?

@@deagle7776 first off they didn't meet his asking price they low balled a 2x pro bowler ..Spanos has that in his track record of letting go good talent for something cheap..in Melvin's case they just felt he wasn't worth it which was complete bullshit..then they turn around and pay ekler top dollar and he's not even a proven every down back..It's a cold business at the end of the day . No relationships. You telling me they couldn't cough up 3-4 more million for Gordon? When hes been a beast of a running back for you.

Cedric Frazier ur right Spanos is a bad owner but Melvins asking price was too high like top 3 RB money when he never proved to be that price. He was also very injury prone. I think 10 mil a year was a correct salary for him since he was definitely a top 5-10 RB when healthy. Another reason chargers didn't pay him was cuz apart from him sitting out, he played poorly last season unlike ekeler who played great. I still wish Melvin the best for himself tho

@Aiden Brinkley It would be pure stupidity that if just because Gordon is paid more, he plays more. The best back should get more plays, but inside the 5 yard line, I believe it should be Gordon unless he can't punch it in either, then we go to a Plan C which is throw to Albert O.

How do you quantify "best" back? Carries, yards or TDs? Between the 20s, Lindsay will get more yards, but less passes. Gordon will get more passes between the 20s and more opportunities to pound it in in the endzone. The catches pad his stats, but if he gets stuffed in just before the goal line, he is no better than Lindsay. He needs to produce inside the 5!

Strength power size speed uses stiff arm more of a classic running back can get through multiple tackles. Lindsay can be used as rotational he is agile quick elusive but gets tackled easily.

He is not unique and not great. He is also not capable of the demands of an every down back. Not a great receiver or pass blocker. Also I would put Gordon above him too. If you want to take names out that’s opinion. But he isn’t too 10 and he’s at best around 12-15
