The entire arc of them talking about turning jupiter into a new star reminded me of a series of dnd campaigns i follow. They all take place on a planet named io and all occur in the same timeline. Turns out, its actually the moon io and future humans colonized it after turning jupiter into a star when the sun ceased to exist.

Fun fact: Jupiter WAS going to be a star, however is gravity wasn’t strong enough, it’s known as a “Failed star.”
@briannorman17502 жыл бұрын
Definitely correct in some ways but maybe that’s a bit of a slippery slope to go down- Jupiter would need 80x it’s current mass to be classified as even just a Brown Dwarf, so imo it’s more fair to give it credit as a very successful planet instead of a failed star. And I mean, if Jupiter is a failed star then Saturn would also qualify, and then you realize literally everything that has mass once had the potential to be a star…

I would argue that The Moon is actually not a moon at all. There are 3 categories required for the state of planethood. 1. Solar centric orbit. 2. Big enough to have a spherical form. 3. Cleared the orbit of other bodies. The Moon fulfills all 3 of these as The Sun has a bigger pull on The Moon than The Earth and there are no other objects in The Moon's path. Therefore I argue that The Moon and The Earth form a twin planet system.
