Kinda like in WW1 Germany wanted to be neutral and asked for peace when the Russian Tsar declared war on German Empire because the German Empire was allied to the Hungarian empire which declared war on Serbia. To which Russia declared war on Hungary and therefore Germany, A Germany who had next to nothing to do with the war kicking off and also was rather similar to France and the UK in their war crimes, not "worse" It's just cuz we the allies won, so we blamed Germany, the biggest threat to our economy and industries. However, we can try to outweigh the harm that has been done with good deeds. I always felt like Germany has more responsibility than any other country to prevent something so terrible from ever happening again! Rather than being pacifist and reserved, Germany should actively defend Freedom and Peace to show that we've changed. Jordan Peterson says that you can only be "good" if you have the power to do horrible things but chose not to do so. The colors in Germany's flag represent black for the dark past, red as the blood that flows in the fight for good and gold like our golden future. Germany is finally going to leave behind its black phase to enter the red phase of its history, if that is what it takes.

Germany joining in weapon shipments, increasing its military budget is a huge huge gamechanger for the EU and not to mention germany. Ever simce ww2 germany much like japan has been tip toeing on any subject regarding power projection, weapons and military intervention. Well honestly not with Scholz or anything like really you might think that Germanys military is somehow important but actually this is just an illusion. Since the Cold War the army has degraded over the past years and is now quite well trained and specialised but not very large or powerful. Living in their leftish liberal society under the current protection of America (aka NATO) and their nukes Germany has quite relaxed in these aspects and instead tried to boost their economy. And yes, Putins attack on Ukraine is a wake-up call for a lot of countries including Germany but to even get back to the military level of the Cold War (not to mention actual WW2 power levels) Germany WILL need a lot of money, effort and time. So don’t think of this increased budget as of Germany becoming a real threat or help to anybody it’s just trying to meet NATOs expectations and rapidly trying to build up something that had been lost for a very long time. Dunno, but with Scholz and German politics I really don’t like where it is going. This country is crumbling from the inside (even the Germans themselves realise that) and God knows what will happen next. Anyway, not in the direction of a strong, unifying, WW2 like Germany. So take down your expectations a bit, ok?

As someone whose family fought the Germans in two world wars: 1.The way they were treated after the first war made the second one pretty much inevitable. 2. These are very, very different Germans. They give a buttload to Africa and developing nations everywhere. They are the voice of sanity. They treat their citizens well. Their education system is excellent. Be calm. This is good news. Even the French and Poles like this idea.

It was the treaty that officially reunited Germany and gave it full sovereignty. The 2 means the two Germanies of the Cold War. The 4 are the four victors of WW2 (France, Soviet Union, UK, USA). This treaty has a clause that limits Germany's standing forces to (only) 370.000.

The teacher that graded the pizza math problem is definitely wrong. The student that wrote the answer in pencil is definitely correct. The problem does not state at all the subject of the fraction. Marty ate 4/6 of his pizza. Luis ate 5/6 of his pizza. We are not to assume that they have the same pizza EVEN if that assumption is normal. In a math problem all assumptions need to be addressed. If not, then this problem is a poorly worded problem. Unless there's a previous part of the problem that indicates that Marty and Luis got the same size pizza. Also mathematically, we cannot compare fractions without indicating what it is a fraction of? Comparison of 5/6 of something and 4/6 of something is meaningless unless we know what that something is.

Maybe I am overthinking it but I would nuke Namibia. Not because I hate them or anything (actually quite the contrary) but because it is a reasonable choice. Namibia is a non-aligned state without its own nuclear weapons but one of the lowest population densities in the world and a long Atlantic coast. The missile (or bomber) could fly in from the ocean without anyone detecting it and fearing an attack. It would detonate in the vast lifeless desert, causing minimal human casualties. In the best case, they wouldn't even know who attacked them. If they knew it, they wouldn't be capable of retaliating.
