Austria Hungary used 3 flag during its existence. One of which was the civil ensign which we see everywhere, then the Kingdom of Hungary flag (Transleithania) and the black yellow flag which was the closest to becoming the official flag. It was used on postcards, as a flag of the Austrian part of Austria-Hungary (Cisleithania) and the flag of the Habsburg Austrian empire

I have been waiting for Drew to mention the new Utah flag since it became official a month ago. I'm so glad we don't have a seal on blue bedsheet anymore! Edit: The flag had input from over 40,000 Utahns after going through multiple rounds of design contests. Mountains, Red Rocks, and the Beehive were all the top things Utahns wanted on the new flag. I love how it incorporates all three.

Fun Fact: The Austria-Hungarian flag that we all know is not the real flag of Austria Hungary it is its civil ensign. Austria Hungary never had a National Flag. The reason the civil ensign became associated as the flag is also because wikipedia accidentally put it on its main page for 5+ years.They fixed it eventually. Explanation: Austria-Hungary never had a flag, the closest thing was the flag of the royalty (upper half is black and lower half is yellow). However, someone on Wikipedia decided to instead use the merchant flag as the flag of Austria-Hungary, and shortly after it started a sort of war between Wikipedia editors in wether or not it should stay as is or removed. Eventually, it was decided that the flag would be removed from the article of Austria-Hungary, and instead put into a separate article, "Flags of Austria-Hungary".
