Slovak and Polish are not hard for native speakers of Czech like me, however they are difficult for especially non-slavic people.

While Polish is soft sounding it has terrible voice to written word transcription. Czech sounds harsh, but transcription is good. Slovak sounds soft and has good transcription. In my opinion. For English speaking people, out of the three, Slovak is the easiest to learn and speak fluently. We still have to take into the account case system, timings, gendered words, patterns, a lot of a exceptions, etc. In the end they all get quite complicated.

I think hungary had a monarchy without monarchs for some time after ww1, but it changed away after some time. Usually when the monarchs lost too hard during a world war, it was easier to just remove them from the equation, than find a new family and make a place for them in an election based system

How good a country's economy is not based on the total gdp, even gdp per capita does not tell you a good estimate. India and China have a large economy yet most people in those countries are quite poor. The only reason countries like China, India, Indonesia, etc have a large gdp is due to their large population. Look at the gini coefficient which is the equality of wealth to see how good a countries economy is doing and how an average person lives in that country.
