5:38 Nova Scotia and most of New Brunswick have a decent amount in common with Northern New England, along with Prince Edward Isle (which weirdly isn't included in that scenario). With regard to Quebec, the close border areas have a lot of cultural overlap, but not all the way to the St. Lawrence River. But gaining access to the St. Lawrence would be the only motivation for intruding up there. And if they were willing to do that, they'd surely also try to acquire the northernmost counties of New York, which are fairly New England-ish themselves.

Mercury is tidally locked in a way that it spins exactly 3 times for each two times it goes around the Sun. There is therefore no light and dark side, the whole planet is in full sunlight at one time or another. Except, just like on our own moon, there are craters at both poles of Mercury that are always in shadow. You could build bases in those craters and they would be shielded from the heat of the Sun. They would also have an abundant supply of water in the form of ice trapped in those cold shadowed craters.

0:25 Greek history nerd here! So, in this map, we can infer from the Octopus that has "Yunanistan Venizelos" written on it, that the Republican pro-Entente political faction in Greece, lead by Eleftherios Venizelos, dominated during all of the period from 1909 to 1925 and onwards. So no National Schism and no Royalists winning the elections of 1920. So according to the dates, we can be certain that Greece colonized part of Libya, namely Cyrenaica, were there was a substantial Greek community at the time, and the rest was conquered by Italy at the same time. Greece then during the Balkans Wars managed to actually unite with Northern Epirus, Crete and the rest of the lands that were acquired then (Epirus, Agean Islands and Macedonia). Then, during the First World War, Greece was just as in reality with the Allies. The difference here is probably that the Royalist (Pro-German) faction lost steam apparently, so in 1915 when the offer was made by Britain to join the Allies and in exchange get Cyprus on the spot and support for further claims, they got it without a second thought. Then, just as in reality, with the Treaty of Sevres, Greece was awarded the majority Greek areas of Thrace and Ionia, however they could only actually annex them after the end of the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1923). In this universe, again the Venizelist Republican side is stronger, meaning that the Pro-German faction is nowhere near winning the elections of 1920 and the Entente maintain their support for Greece. Thus, Venizelos presses on with his plans to simply annex Constantinople, and not attack into the heartland of Turkey, thus winning the war. Crimea is a bit of a mystery, I'm guessing the Greek contingent that aided the White Army against the communists kind of succeeded and retained some majority Greek regions? Maybe they also received refugees from Azov Sea Greeks.
