It comes down to the way our torso can rotate (the distance from ribs to pelvis is a lot larger than in our closest living relatives), our clavicles or oriented more horizontally, allowing for greater flexibily in the shoulder and the way our humerus is curved - all contributing to making the throwing motion the fastest movement our body can produce.
